General Hospital spoilers relate that it’s without a doubt that Laura Wright is one daytime television star who has had a very emotional holiday season. The beautiful blonde had to say good-bye to her beloved father, Rector Sisk, shortly after Christmas. Thankfully, she had loads of support from her closest family members, her friends, and of course, her fans, who have always helped her during her most difficult times in life. That is one of the reasons why she knows that if she needs help, she can count on everyone to be there, including her social media followers.
General Hospital Spoilers: Star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) Reaches Out For Your Help!
As a matter of fact, Laura recently reached out to her fans and followers with a new plea. A friend of her son has been asking for help. That’s because his beloved pup is in serious need of medical treatment. Laura, being the animal lover that she is, took to her Twitter account to reach out to her fans in hopes that they could help out by writing, “This is my son’s best friend —- his heart is breaking ….. any amount can help.”
She also shared a link to a GoFundMe page that says a pup named Maiya is in desperate need of funds to help with her medical bills. The page was created by a man named Liam Pollenz, who is the friend of Laura Wright’s son, John.
The GoFundMe page says, “Maiya is a 10-week-old puppy that I bought without being told of her health issues. Upon bringing her home on January 13th I immediately started to notice that something wasn’t right. The next morning I took her to my local vet who informed me that she was very sick.”
The site also says that the sooner Maiya gets help, the better.“The immediate diagnosis was severe anemia. The anemia has weakened her body to the point to where she needs a blood transfusion. Please be the miracle to save Maiya’s life.”
