    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For September 5: Did Sonny’s plan go massively wrong, or is this a writing fail? Plus, Ava demands results.

    ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for September 5th reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a problem. Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) wants results. We’ll also see Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) questioning Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For September 5: Busted

    First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Sonny is in the hot seat. Which will lead to Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) being called to action. In the promo, Sonny will insist, “I’m not going to say anything unless my attorney’s present.”

    This whole bust seems pretty legit, which has us shaking our heads. What happened to the flash drive of fake info? We never really saw Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) find one of those in his office.

    She seemed to go straight for his computer and used one to copy the information. And if she did get fake info like they kept saying, how did the feds come upon a real deal going down? Please, writers, make this make sense.

    Making this look even worse, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will tell Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), “This might be the end of my father.”

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For September 5: Well?

    Elsewhere, Ava presses Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). Given it’s likely she hasn’t yet heard what happened with Sonny, we’re pretty sure she wants what was promised. As in, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) body. But since Nikolas is alive, well, and apparently has some plan? Well, we think she’s going to get more excuses instead.

    ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For September 5: Gloating

    In other ‘General Hospital’ spoilers, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) toys with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Cyrus will inform him, “You’re no longer under any protection.”

    We guess that’ll be his kind way of breaking the news about Sonny’s bust. Given Drew saved his life, that’s really petty and silly. But we’re sure he’s got some purpose behind it all. He did seem like he wanted Drew as part of his flock.

    Finally, Carly wants answers. Clearly, this is in response to the bust on Sonny. In the promo, Carly tells Michael, “You need to tell me the truth right now.”

    We’re glad Michael possibly going off script is coming to mind, because neither he nor Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have been particularly rational when it comes to Sonny.

    We do think he saw the light eventually, so we don’t believe Michael had anything to do with it. But Carly would be a fool not to consider the possibility for a minute.
