‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are about to be reunited when Sam goes marching down to the PCPD after he is arrested for shooting her man, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A Not So Warm JaSam Reunion
The police station is the same place where they met 20 years ago, so the writers would stay true to the show’s history if they had the two come face-to-face where they first laid eyes on each other.
Jason and Sam met in December 2003 when they were both under arrest for aiding and abetting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Jason discovered that Sam and Sonny had an affair while he was married to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and he offered Sam a million dollars to leave town.
However, Sam finds out she is pregnant by Sonny, and Jason offers to help her raise the baby. The pair started to fall in love, but the baby died.
After coming to terms with her baby’s death, Jason and Sam began a relationship and eventually got married. They had a son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Ultimately, they broke up after an explosion at the Floating Rib brought Sam to the conclusion that she could no longer handle Jason’s dangerous life and didn’t want it to affect her children.
Jason and Sam will soon meet again, but it will be under different circumstances. Sam is in a relationship with Dante, who is fighting for his life at General Hospital.
Sam believes that Jason may have shot Dante, and she is fighting mad. She even lashed out at Carly at the hospital because she saw Jason and allowed him to escape.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante Needs to Wake Up And Clear Jason
When Carly said she wished she could do something to help, Sam replied,
“If you see Jason, call the police.”
Sam doesn’t want to lose Dante, and she’s scared, which makes it understandable, but Sam is suspicious of Jason, which is new. The pair always used to work together to overcome obstacles. They were a team.
But Sam is in love with Dante now, and she’s changed. Dante and Sam have been co-parenting and raising their happy little blended family.
The bond between them is strong, and Sam isn’t about to let someone get away with shooting Dante, even if that someone is Jason.
Sam may also press Jason about where he’s been for the past two years while she and Danny believed that he was dead.
When Jason explains to her that he didn’t do it, will Sam believe him? Jason did make it a point to ask Danny not to say anything to Sam about where he was.
He had to have known she might instinctively blame him for Dante’s shooting. Otherwise, he could have trusted her not to tell the cops.
The stakes are high, as past relationships and close friendships are being tested to their potential breaking point.
Sam may be livid the next time she sees Jason. If Sam confronts Jason at the PCPD over Dante’s shooting, it will bring them full circle. It’s time for Dante to wake up and clear Jason.
