‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kirsten Storms Was Taken Off Contract Shortly After Her Long-Awaited Return
GH fans are seriously worried about Storms. When the actress returned to the soap in February, she was on contract status.
However, shortly afterward, she is no longer on contract with GH. Viewers expect that her role will now be recurring.
It’s also been strange that Maxie recently awakened from a coma and her BFF, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning) was dating the love of her life, Nathan West (Ryan Paevy), or at least everyone believes he’s Nathan.
However, he’s really Nathan’s twin brother, Cassius Faison. What is even weirder is that Maxie hasn’t had hardly any scenes with Lulu or “Nathan” since her miraculous awakening.
She simply chose to be with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and let bygones be bygones, despite her initial reaction of making a huge fuss over it.
The truth is that it should have absolutely been Maxie who saw that something was off with Nathan. The first clue Maxie should have clocked was that Nathan clearly “just wasn’t that into her.” Instead, he fell in love with Lulu.
If anyone should be the one to make the big reveal that Nathan is really Cassius Faison, it should be Maxie, not junior spy and rookie WSB agent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
None of it made sense, up until now. According to TMZ, Storms’ ex-husband, Brandon Barash, who is best known for playing Stefan DiMera on the Peacock soap, Days of Our Lives, claims that Storms is exhibiting troubling behavior.
Barash pleaded for an emergency restraining order against Storms, and it was approved. The actor said that following their divorce the former couple moved separately to Tennessee.

Kirsten hadn’t had a permanent residence from September 2024 to June 2025 and was staying at hotels or with friends.
She often changed hotels as she believed that people were following her and their daughter, Harper Rose, to their room.
Barash also alleged that Kirsten’s car was about to be repossessed and that he had loaned her $5,000, which she has yet to pay back.
The actor went on to claim that in May 2025, Storms reached out and told him that she was having some hallucinations and delusions, and his new wife helped her get into a mental health facility, and she was placed on psychiatric hold.
After her release, Kirsten acted like nothing happened. In November 2025, Storms told him that people were breaking into her apartment, taking items, and putting them into her car.
Barash claimed that a friend of hers had been concerned that she was abusing the ADHD stimulant and prescription medication, Adderall and possibly some other drugs.
General Hospital Spoilers: Could Storms Behavior Be a Result of Past Or Current Health Issues?
He said that Kirsten had “repeatedly had meltdowns, instances of being triggered, and hearing things like voices that weren’t there.”
Kirsten’s issues have understandbly made Barash fearful for their daughter, Harper Rose’s safety and overall well-being. She’s also been evicted from her apartment.
Barash asked the court to make sure that Kirsten underwent psychiatric evaluation. Storms also posted on Instagram that she had been hacked.
For now, Storms is allowed supervised visitation with their daughter. This week the judge will review the restraining order. Some of her behavior could perhaps be related to her past or current health issues.
We wonder if any of this is due to the crainiotomy or coiling surgery she underwent. Uncharacteristic behavior can sometimes be a result of any sort of trauma someone may have experienced after surgery or from brain swelling.
