‘General Hospital’ spoilers relate that stars Drew and Derk might be reunited, but that doesn’t mean they will be returning to the canvas anytime soon. Actor Drew Chetwood sparked a flurry of reports and speculation that he would be reprising his role as Milo Giambetti, along with his brother Derk Chetwood, who plays Max Giambetti. Apparently, that’s not the case at all. Here’s what you need to know.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Producers Set The Record Straight About The Chetwoods’ Return

Drew posted a photo of the two brothers together, with a lot of fans assuming that his post meant that they would be returning to General Hospital soon.

“This guy called me about an operation with the boss,” Drew captioned the pic. “How could I say no?” And when he posted the same pic to Twitter, the actor joked: “He went the whole night without smacking me upside the head once!”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the Chetwoods will be helping Sonny Corinthos help protect his family in Port Charles anytime soon. That’s because a rep for General Hospital told Soaps in Depth that there are no plans to bring Max and Milo back in the foreseeable future. Now, this doesn’t mean that they won’t be returning at all. It’s just that fans shouldn’t expect to see them in any of the current or upcoming storylines.

For a lot of General Hospital viewers, it’s without a doubt that they are bummed over the news! After all, Sonny could sure use Max and Milo’s help in his current mission to save his son Dante. Clearly, he could use the man power! Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! For now, we will continue to keep our fingers crossed.
