Well, at least things didn’t get as bad as ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers expected between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). They were still bad and shows that he hasn’t learned a thing.

At some point, he, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) need shock therapy to figure out the chain of events, though Carly needs far less than her children.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael’s Narcissistic Need to Control Comes Through

Nina could use some therapy as well given how she and Carly are exactly alike. They both lash out when injured without thinking ahead, and then when things fall apart they scramble to try to hold it all together.

All four have the same type of personality, and that would explain the constant need to get payback. The self righteous sect don’t like seeing themselves in Nina and knowing they can’t admit when they’re wrong.

All the while, Nina has admitted she was wrong when she has messed up every time when she’s been confronted by it.

The plus side of Michael’s actions isn’t that he’s trying to destroy his family, he’s just trying to control every aspect of them out of a narcissistic need to “protect” them.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Digging it deep

If we’re being honest with ourselves, Michael’s attempt to control when Nina can see her daughter and granddaughter are just that — a need to control. It’s not about protecting his family but inflicting harm on Nina.

The fact he wants her to sell back the Metro Court to Carly under the misguided idiocy that she stole it shows that.

So does the fact that Nina tried to give it back early on but Carly refused because her pride wouldn’t let her accept it from Nina. And Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in prison on his own decisions, just like Carly would be.

Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen) is more than capable of thinking for herself, but she’s being cut out of this decision and when she learns of it the writers will take the lazy way by having her submit to the person in authority.

It’s her character type to do that after being raised and passed around in cults her whole life, though it would be nice if she was allowed to make a decision for herself instead of allowing Michael and Carly to continue to do so and then going along with it.

This won’t help anyone and only draw things out, but there is a way to end it.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina comes clean

Nina can end it and take away Michael’s power by telling Willow and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and deal with the consequences.

She may lose everything, or she may not. Sonny will be furious but he could understand her reasoning as he hasn’t held Carly blameless in any part of her choices.

And to “General Hospital” Spoilers, her coming clean would open up so many other storyline possibilities than dragging it out so Michael can feel big and strong for bullying a woman.

Will Nina admit everything to Willow? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
