The former daytime television star has just landed a brand new gig directing an upcoming episode of the hit CW drama, Supernatural. Yes, as in the show that stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. How exciting!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Matt Cohen (Dr. Griffin Munro) Moves Up In the World, Shares Super Exciting News With Fans!
According to reports, Matt will go behind the camera to direct an episode of the show’s final season. As many fans remember, he once appeared on Supernatural as a young John Winchester.
When asked if directing is still something that he wants to continue doing in the future (obviously, right?), Matt told News and Beyond in an interview, “I will be pursuing directing and acting with an equal amount of effort. A great man once told me, “Walk through the doors that open in front of you, once you get in there you can decide if you want to stay or not.” So for now I am looking at the opportunities that come my way and they have been very interesting so far.”
The handsome actor added, “I want to make original content and I want to make original content that I want to watch myself. I may be directing and I may be acting and most likely I’ll be acting and directing in the same projects, but my goal remains the same, to make fun and interesting media!”
Clearly, Matt has a very bright future ahead of him. While there’s no doubt that his fans would love to see him reprise his role on General Hospital, it’s also great to see that he’s doing what he loves, and that’s directing! We always knew that he was not only handsome but also someone with many different talents. We can’t wait to see more of Matt’s work, both behind the camera and of course, in front of it, too.
