‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is nothing if not resourceful. Once she has her mind set on something, she always follows through.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: L&B Records Started in the 90s
Lois will soon find a solution to Blaze’s (aka Allison Rogers, played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez) problem and the answer to her prayers as she decides to bring L&B Records back to save Blaze’s career.
Lois and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) originally started L&B Records. The two women created the company back in the 90s. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was the financial backer.
Eddie Maine and the Idle Rich was the only band they had signed when they started. Eddie Maine was Ned Quartermaine‘s (Wally Kurth) rock star persona, which he cultivated, and Ned kept Eddie a secret from his family.
Soon, they signed Marie Mae Ward (Rosalind Cash) as a blues singer, and Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin) followed. L&B became a hugely successful venture.
Eventually, Lois’s daughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), was signed to the label. Lois lived in London and Australia, busying herself with managing bands.
L&B hasn’t been mentioned on the show in a long time, but maybe it’s time to resurrect it to help Blaze. Hopefully, the writers will see this as an excellent opportunity to do just that.
Since Ava Jerome (Maura West) outed Blaze and Kristina Corinthos-Davis‘s (Kate Mansi) relationship with her secret recording of Blaze’s mom, Natalia Rogers Rameriz (Eva LaRue), making derogatory remarks about gay people, Blaze and Kritina’s respective careers have hit the skids.
After minimal coaxing, the Invader’s editor-in-chief, Adrian DeWitt (Dietrich Gray), sang like a canary and revealed that Ava gave him the recording.
The record label dropped Blaze because they thought it looked like she was ashamed to be gay. The LGBTQ center that Kristina opened doesn’t want her involved because she hid her relationship with Blaze.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Music To Everyone’s Ears!
The scandal affected Blaze, Kristina, Deception Cosmetics, and Brook Lynn, Blaze’s manager.
So now Blaze and Kristina are in the middle of a PR nightmare, and Lois could be the one to save them. Brook Lynn could have a chance to be Blaze’s manager at L&B and take Blaze in a positive direction.
Most importantly, her PR could be managed so that she could tell her side of the story. Resurrecting L&B Records is a brilliant idea.
Lois would get a fun storyline and help Blaze navigate the mess Natalia and Ava made, ultimately having great success. She would also have loads of creative freedom.
Brenda could come to town for a visit and maybe help out. Or, better yet, Brook Lynn could be the new “B” in “L&B” and take Brenda’s place as a mother and daughter team up for the greater good!
Maybe they could even sign Gio Palmeri (Giovanna Mazza). He’s close to Lois and Brook Lynn, and his music could have the power to move millions of people.
The only caveat to Lois signing Blaze is that Natalia would have no part in it. This is music to everyone’s ears!
With a bit of help from Lois and Brook Lynn and Kristina’s unwavering support, Blaze could overcome this bump in the road and become stronger.
