General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Obrecht Slips and Gives Valentin Cassadine’s Shady Business Away To Maxie Jones and Peter August
Laura and Elizabeth are both dealing with some man trouble right now, to varying degrees. Elizabeth is a little shocked to learn there’s a playdate in the works for Aiden Spencer (Jason David) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). She (rightly) assumes that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) stuck his nose in the situation. She tells Laura she’s a little surprised he did this without discussing it with her first. She’s also grateful that he cares enough to try helping her son. She concludes that at least his misguided ideas to help have good intentions behind them. This helps Laura to sort through her own complicated feelings about Kevin Collins’ mistake by hiding his evil twin, Ryan.
Later on, Laura meets up with Kevin, who has been cleaning his office out to make way for a replacement. Laura offers her support, and tells him that she’s still in love with him. Looks like these two might actually have a happy ending.
As for Elizabeth, she later asks Franco about the upcoming playdate and learns he was, in fact, the one behind it. Franco admits that it now seems like a very stupid idea (Ha! Thank you for agreeing with us, Franco), but Elizabeth offers her gratitude for trying to help.
GH Spoilers: Like a dog with a bone
Maxie just can’t let go of what Valentin might be hiding from Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford), even after her personal DNA testing proved her Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) theory wrong. She speculates about all the suspicious stuff that’s gone on and what might really be the secret. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) tells her that maybe it’s time to let this go, as her relationship with Nina is vulnerable right now. Besides that, if she’s right about there being something devastating waiting to be uncovered, is it better for her to be the first to break the news? He’d rather focus on the future—theirs.
Speaking of this situation, we’re wondering what is wrong with these two. After all, when they approached Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), she explains she’d left because she didn’t want to see Nina’s heart get broken. She even mentions Valentin being exposed for the liar he is. Given their spot-on deduction skills to date, how did they not realize Liesl just confirmed everything? Liesl expresses how glad she is that the tests showed Sasha is Nina’s daughter, then runs straight for Valentin to learn how that was possible. Not a smart move, as Valentin threatens that Liesl has much more to lose if he and Nina aren’t happy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: On the edge
Ava continues to do a little obsessing of her own. Namely, taking out Ryan. She actually thinks he’s been following her, but is surprised to learn that Julian Jerome (William DeVry) has hired Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to play bodyguard. She insists that she can take care of herself and fires him. He points out that she’s not actually his boss, so she warns him that if he keeps following her around, she’ll blow his cover or call the police about it.

Once she’s alone, she invites Franco over to ask him to play her boyfriend. She argues that Ryan is already crazy jealous after Franco took credit for his genius, so thinking Franco also took his woman will be enough to draw him out. Franco’s response is along the lines of “bitch, please.” He’s not willing to put himself in Ryan’s crosshairs again. He wishes her luck, as well as whatever patsy she finds to take his place. Alone now, Ava places a call to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
In other Ryan news, Curtis has been busy when he’s not playing Ava’s shadow. He meets with Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) to tell her about being fired by Ava and to confirm her fears about Ava’s state. He also has news on the Ryan front. He put some feelers out and learned there was a pharmacy near where Ryan took a dive that was burglarized. They haven’t found the culprit yet. That would allow Ryan to have everything he’d need to survive losing a hand and the risk of infection.
Other General Hospital Spoilers
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha come across each other at the gym, where they’re each working out some inner angst on a punching bag. They talk a bit, and Sasha apologizes for taking off the last time they met up, but said his talk about his ex’s dishonesty got to her, as she’s not very honest herself. She asks if they can still be friends—the casual type. This then cuts to them getting undressed elsewhere. Guess they decided friends with benefits works?
