‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that in the March 25th episode of GH, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) finally declared their love for one another.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason and Britt Have Been Through One Obstacle After the Next
Sadly, it was when the WSB took Jason away as he was being extradited to God knows where for God knows how long. Yesterday, Steve Burton made his temporary exit from the soap.
Jason and Britt have been through one obstacle after the next to be together. They had planned to leave together and head to Canada so Brick (Stephen A. Smith) could copy her life-sustaining drugs.
Britt had finally gotten her hands on her Huntington’s medicine, only for Cullum to cruelly stomp on it and destroy it. Meanwhile, the WSB had issued a warrant for Jason’s arrest before Cullum was even shot.
It was heartbreaking to watch the lovers separated once again. We hope that once Jason returns, they can pick up where they left off.
The last scenes Jason and Britt shared together were highly emotional. Britt told Jason she loved him while breaking into tears. Jason tearfully responded, “I love you.” It was the first time they said those words.
Jason, who typically shows emotion with expert subtlety, was visibly devastated. His typically stoic demeanor broke down as he said goodbye. Their love declarations came at the perfect, emotionally charged moment.
Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jason’s farewell was also brutal, as Danny called desperately for his father as the WSB closed the van and they drove away.
The high-stakes nature of the goodbye scenes with Jason in the van was compounded by Brennan telling Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that Danny would never see his father again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Britt Has No Idea Jason Is Protecting Rocco
Jason, who is protecting Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), had told Britt to tell the PCPD that Jason shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), but it was Rocco who fired the first shot.
Stone Cold did what he had to do to protect Rocco. He took the rap for the shooting of a high-ranking WSB agent, and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) wasted no time in rounding up his boys and taking him into custody.
Right now, Britt has no idea that Jason is going to prison to save Rocco, but she would undoubtedly approve since she loves Rocco like her own kid.
Currently, Britt thinks that Jason shot Cullum to save her life after he knocked her onto the ground unconscious. We have to wonder if Rocco may confess to Britt the truth about what really happened.
Of course, Britt would obviously protect Rocco’s safety and freedom by keeping his secret. He’s just a good kid who got caught up in a dangerous situation through no fault of his own.
Jason, Nathan West (Ryan Paevy), and Rocco’s mom, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Breuning), are the only ones who know what really went down at the pier.
The fact that Jason is covering for Rocco makes this story all the more heartbreaking. However, we have a feeling that Rocco will open up to Britt at some point.
Once again, Jason and Britt are forced apart by circumstances beyond their control. Fate seems to keep taking them in different directions, but will true love prevail?
