‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have been a fan of Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) building a relationship from the first second they crossed paths, and we still love the idea.
With Gregory’s health quickly deteriorating, it looks like our hope of a misdiagnosis won’t happen, but there could still be a miracle cure somewhere, through that’s not what this show does.
So since he’s on a limited time, we’d love to see him really connect with someone in a meaningful way, and not just as a friend or a sudden flirt.
It’d be a great way to really ramp up the drama and add a new dimension to the character before his time is over.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Classic storytelling
While we love his relationship with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers love how he and Tracy clicked early on. There was great tension and camaraderie despite seemingly being at each other’s throats.
It was clear that Tracy respected him early on even though she refused to give a hint of it, and now we’ve been able to see the pain she’s feeling at losing Gregory to his ALS.
Sure, part of it is probably due to losing Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), but we think there’s more to it than that.
She really does care for Gregory and wants to be there for him but she doesn’t know how. This would be an awesome storyline for both of them as he could start letting her in and she’d find a purpose, someone to focus her energies on to help soothe her soul.
Tracy may put our as many fires as she starts with the Quartermaines, but when she’s locked in on a task few can match her grit and tenacity.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Building relationships
It’s one thing ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers has done pretty regularly and well in that they give the characters that are dying a great, loving relationship at the end.
Like we mentioned earlier, it’ll ramp up the drama when Gregory can no longer move or passes away, and it’ll add so much to Tracy seeing her caring for him and being there for him like she wasn’t able to for Luke.
It may just be our hopeless romantic side, but this is something we’d love to see blossom between them and have it be more than an appearance here or there and months apart in the show’s timeline.
It doesn’t have to be a major one, but there’s no reason we can’t take a peak at what’s happening every couple of episodes.
