‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers suggest that Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) may soon have a tiny bundle of joy on the way courtesy of sleazy Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Treats Willow Like His Possession
Prior to her leaving for her trip to Germany to visit Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at the burn clinic, we were subjected to a very unwelcome bedroom scene between Drew and Willow.
It felt like there had to be some profound reason why GH would show Drew and Willow having sex when no one wanted to see them together. Perhaps it will lead to a bun in the oven for Willow.
When Willow tried to see Michael, there was a massive twist in the story we didn’t see coming. Drew paid the receptionist to deceive Willow and tell her that Michael wanted nothing to do with her.
Willow believed the lie and immediately called Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to inform her that Michael refused to see her.
After Willow walked out the door, the shady receptionist called Drew to tell him the job was done. She told Willow exactly what Drew wanted her to say. He responded by saying that payment would come to her soon.
Drew desperately wants to control Willow. He will do whatever it takes to keep her. Even if it means making a dirty move like keeping her from communicating with her husband. He knows how important it is that they work out a mutually agreed-upon custody arrangement.
Drew’s actions portray him as someone who thinks of the woman he loves as an object, not a person. Willow stupidly signed legal papers to make Drew the legal guardian of her and Michael’s children, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Believes Drew Is Her Knight And Shining Armor
Drew obviously thinks of Willow and the kids as his family now, which, to him, means that he owns them. Willow has fallen for Drew’s knight-in-shining-armor act for far too long.
We have to wonder if and when Willow discovers what Drew did to prevent her from seeing Michael, will this be enough to show Willow the kind of man Drew really is?
In addition, Nina Reeves and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) plan to frame Drew. They will make it look like he slept with a hooker.
Whether this is or isn’t a good idea, if Willow believes Drew cheated on her, she’ll regret every move she’s made since the first day she kissed him.
We have an inkling that she may find out she’s sleeping with the enemy way too late. It’s not hard to imagine that Willow learns of Drew’s calculated deception just before she finds out she’s carrying his child.
Willow may come to her senses and realize she’s made a terrible mistake. She was married to a man who treated her like a princess, and left him for Drew. However, if Willow is pregnant, it would be very difficult for her to leave Drew.
Hopefully, Willow’s pregnancy would not interfere with her ability to leave Drew if she uncovers the truth. However, an unplanned pregnancy would tie Willow forever to a man she never should have been involved with in the first place.
