If there’s one thing soap operas have taught ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers over the years, it’s that everyone gets away with murder, especially if they’re rich.
In Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez)’s case, he’s more than rich. The Cassadine fortune is enough to buy a few nations, assuming he can grab enough of it before Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) locks it all up under his control.
With everyone turning against him now, especially Laura Collins (Genia Francis) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), he may start getting desperate in his obsession with Ace, and take things to a whole new level.
This is where things could get tricky, and we’re curious how much Spencer will channel Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to get his way.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Escalating things
With Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) ready to move out to her own apartment with Ace, which will be at a place Spencer’s at all the time anyway, he’s ready to panic.
His obsession is reaching epic levels and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers thinks there are a couple of possible ways he’ll try to get his hands on Ace.
The first is simply abducting him. Spencer has the money to find the right people, so it’s just a question of whether he can come up with a decent plan and if he can pull it off.
Chances are he can, but somewhere along the lines he’ll feel superior enough to brag or taunt her, and that will be the beginning of his undoing.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – The next level
Possibly the easiest way for him to gain custody of his brother would be to have Esme killed.
This is a bit harsh and would shock everyone if he did it, but he does have the money, so he could hire someone to take her out for him.
He could then legally win custody of Ace since Nikolas isn’t around or he could take his brother and run off.
He’s got a fortune at his disposal, so he could hide anywhere just like his father and it could take years if ever to find him.
It’d be an interesting twist on how Nikolas keeps running away from his responsibilities and Spencer will run away to honor his. Sort of.
We don’t see Spencer going either of these routes yet, but given how he was willing to cast Trina aside for his brother, he’s definitely willing to give up everything to fuel his obsession.
