‘General Hospital Spoilers’: Someone Wants Sasha To Think She’s Losing Her Mind
Someone desperately wants to make it appear as though Sasha is unstable. First, someone switched Sasha’s baby with another one at the hospital.
Sasha freaked out, but Daisy was soon given back to her mother. Then, there were some strange occurrences at the Quartermaine mansion.
Sasha saw the milk carton in the cupboard instead of the fridge, and then someone had changed Daisy’s clothes from yellow to pink, which seemed to be only the start of more torture for Sasha.
We have to wonder who is trying to undermine Sasha’s mental health. The most obvious answer would be Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Willow is basically sleepwalking around Port Charles like a brainwashed zombie in between her romps with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
However, we think the idea of Willow being behind all this is way too obvious to be true. We have another theory: it may be another character coming back from the dead.
Death is hardly an obstacle that interferes with a character’s return. Look at Kelly Thiebaud. While it has yet to be determined whether Thiebaud will reprise her role as Britt Westbourne, rumors suggest that Britt is definitely on her way back to Port Charles.
Could Willow’s evil twin, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), be responsible for a vicious gaslighting plot against Sasha?
Yes, Nelle has been presumed dead since 2020 after she fell down a cliff. God Bless Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for trying to pull her back up, even after everything Nelle did to Carly and her family.
‘General Hospital Spoilers’: We Never Saw Nelle’s Body
But guess what? We never saw Nelle’s body. In soaps, not finding a body means that a well-scripted return from the dead is fair game.
There has been some speculation that Nelle survived her fall into the abyss and is waiting for the perfect moment to seek revenge on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and his family.
It’s also plausible that Nelle, who was married to Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) at the time of her death, could have found her and pulled her from the river she fell into.
Nelle could be consumed with jealousy over Sasha building a family with Michael and targeting Sasha and her daughter, Daisy. Nelle was also obsessed with Michael.
We also know that on soaps, history tends to repeat itself. At one point, Nelle gaslit Carly so severely that she made Carly believe that Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was still alive.
Carly was haunted by the memory of Morgan. Carly even had to receive shock treatment at Ferncliff. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sure has two nutty daughters.
Nelle was always focused on revenge and excelled at attaining that single-minded goal. Let’s not forget Nelle is Wiley Corinthos’s (Viron Weaver) biological mother, and she could come back to reclaim her child.
Sasha, haunted by her memories of Liam and desperate not to lose another child, would be a prime target for someone like Nelle. It would certainly be interesting to discover Nelle was alive and ready to exact her revenge.
