‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggests that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) might use any method he can to try to get at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He is jealous of the fact that Sonny has been able to do whatever he wants to do in Port Charles.
Sonny is friends with powerful people and is protected. Cyrus wants to make Sonny pay in any way he can. Has he found a new method to “stick it to Sonny”?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: First Attack on Ava Jerome (Maura West)
GH’s Cyrus Renault has been using Ava because of her connection with Sonny for quite some time. When Ava hit Nicholas Cassadine (Adam Huss) on the back of the head with a statue, she thought she had killed him. Cyrus’ henchman, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) made her believe that he took care of the body for her.
Mason did take care of the body, but it was not a dead body. He took Nicholas to his cousin, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) for medical care. Nicholas was fine, but Mason would not let Ava know that. He made her think that she had killed Nicholas, and he was the one who helped her get away with it.
Because of this situation, Mason blackmailed Ava for quite some time. He told her that she had to collect dirt on Sonny. They wanted proof of his interactions with Pikeman.
Austin knew that Nicholas was not dead, but never told Ava. He told Ava that she needed to do whatever Mason told her for her and her daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) to remain safe.

These intense experiences led GH’s Ava and Austin into a relationship with one another. While he was pressuring her on behalf of Cyrus and Mason, he was also falling for her. He wanted to keep her safe and was doing what he could to help her.
Ava did eventually spill everything to Sonny, and he set up Cyrus to receive fake information about his dealings with Pikeman. This put Cyrus in a difficult position, and he needed help to get out of jail. He knew Austin had a soft spot for Ava, and he used this to get Austin to testify for him. Mason kidnapped Ava and was going to kill her, until Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) stopped him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: New Attack on Ava?
Ava found out the shocking news that Nicholas is still alive. She brilliantly told off Austin Gatlin-Holt for keeping this information from her and putting her life in jeopardy.
A distraught Austin contemplated telling the PCPD everything. After promising to identify his boss and get evidence, someone shot Austin.
It is looking as though Ava is being set up to take the rap for this. She knows she didn’t kill Austin, but Mason has told the cops that they should investigate her. They had an argument at the gallery, and she doesn’t have proof of how long she worked there after he left.
