‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers love it when we get to see Ava Jerome (Maura West) stand her ground and do her thing, but she may have gone a bit too far with the tough woman thing with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and it could cost her.
Ava’s never been one to shy away from confrontation, especially when she’s defending herself or a family member, but she really stepped in it big time when Dante paid her a visit to tell her about Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) being murdered.
Given that Austin’s cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) told Dante he suspects Ava, her attitude pretty much marked her as the top suspect. Which she already was, but now there’s a laser dot on her.
What’s worse is she didn’t have to be so stone cold with Dante.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – She could’ve been honest with Dante
She knows Dante and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are as open with each other as they possibly can be, so her letting him know she already knew about Austin’s death wouldn’t have been a bad thing, though it would’ve complicated things for Dante.
If she didn’t want to tell him Sonny told her, then ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers think she should’ve been smart enough to show some kind of emotion instead of leaving a bakery full of crumbs for Dante to wonder over.
In the end, we expect this will end up being very bad for her as everything is pointing her way and even Sonny may not believe that she didn’t kill Austin.
There’s plenty of ways this can go, but she’ll further complicate things when she’ll decide not to share the note telling her she’s welcome and a photo of a dead Austin from the police.
She’ll want to handle it herself, and while that’s commendable, it’s the dumbest thing she could do.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Set up or helping out?
While we suspect Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is responsible for killing Austin, his motives remain unclear as he could be looking to set her up for nearly killing him or just trying to drive her insane.
Add to this that we think he’s the secret buyer for Spoon Island and things could get more complicated as this storyline goes on.
However it works out and the reasoning being the murder was, Ava will find a way to make it worse and may even go to prison for something she didn’t do.
