‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that a new love triangle between Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may be coming.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante Has Developed a Little Crush on Elizabeth
In the February 25th episode of GH, it was clear that Dante was particularly smitten with the brunette beauty as Liz dispensed her special brand of warmth and charm with the advice Dante had asked for.
Dante has definitely developed a little crush on the sweet head nurse at GH. He’s been single ever since his other very pretty brunette, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), was senselessly murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in October 2024.
In the soap world, being single for almost two years is almost unheard of. So, while Sam’s death was undoubtedly tragic, it’s high time for Dante to get back out there on the dating scene.
The flirtation between Dante and Liz is very subtle but effective. After their brief conversation at the hospital, Dante surprised himself with his sudden romantic interest in Elizabeth.
Meanwhile, Liz has recently gone out on a date with Ric. They went to throw axes and ended up sharing a kiss. Ric has loved Elizabeth for forever and has apparently turned over a new leaf.
Ric has grown closer to his brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and has also somewhat made amends with his ex-wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
A love triangle between Liz, Ric, and Dante is clearly brewing. It’s going to be a battle for Liz’s affections, which is actually long overdue.
Elizabeth has had a major dry spell for a while now and hasn’t had a serious relationship since Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). That was a long time ago.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Liz Is a Legacy Character Who Deserves Romance
Liz is a legacy character who deserves to be wined, dined, and romanced. Not to mention, a juicy storyline. It was very interesting to see Dante arrive at Elizabeth’s workplace to seek her wise guidance.
Right now, Dante is in a tough position. He is unsure whether to believe or doubt his brother, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), is innocent.
After all, Michael lied to the judge about his alibi in court. As Michael’s brother, Dante would love nothing more than to be able to stand by him.
Yet, as the police commissioner, he can’t tell if he should be looking at Michael more seriously as a suspect. Liz is also between a rock and a hard place as Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) close friend.
However, the weapon used to shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was discovered in Willow’s room while she was staying at Liz’s house.
After talking with Elizabeth, he realized he really likes her. Now, Liz is in a very fortunate position, potentially having two handsome suitors.
With Ric, Liz has a very complicated history. They were married once, but Ric went psycho and locked a very pregnant Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in the panic room he had built in their home. (It’s a long and sordid story).
However, Ric seems to genuinely want to change. So, Liz is giving him another chance. Dante, on the other hand, would be something fresh, new, and different.
It’s going to be fun watching the two men if they both end up dating Liz at the same time. The question is: who will win Elizabeth’s heart?
