‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Knows How To Get Around The Quartermaine Property
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) serve an unexpected search warrant. The weekly GH preview shows Anna in Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house.
The PCPD is on the hunt to find the gun used in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. Spoilers hint that Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) gun somehow turns up in the kind head nurse’s home.
Anna is currently combing the suspect list and investigating those with access to the Quartermaine mansion. That was, of course, the purpose of grilling Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about her relationship with the Quartermaine family.
If we had to take a wild guess, we think Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) snuck onto the property and stole the gun. Willow has been staying with Liz ever since her break -up with Drew.
In the clip, it looks like Anna procures the weapon used to target Drew. If Anna brings Liz to the station for questioning, will she connect the dots and realize that Willow is even more unstable than she ever imagined?
That said, would Willow really set Liz up to take the fall? We have to wonder how far Willow would go to seek revenge on Drew for his lies.
Willow obviously has a far more compelling motive to shoot Drew. Elizabeth as a murder suspect is laughable.
After all, Willow was finally told the truth on her wedding day that Drew slept with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). At the same time, he also romantically pursued Willow while she was married to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael Could Be Setting Up Willow
The whole reason Willow lost custody of her kids is because of her relationship with Drew. Plus, if anyone knows how to sneak in and out of the Q’s mansion unnoticed, it’s Willow.
Willow also tortured poor Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and messed with her and Michael’s baby. Sasha left town fearing for her daughter’s safety.
Which brings us to the question: how is it that a sprawling mansion like the Q’s has such inept security that Willow was able to slip past unseen?
Interestingly, spoilers also suggest that Michael will suddenly change his mind and permit his ex-wife to see their children.
Oddly enough, he’s set to visit Willow, who is still in Elizabeth’s home, to deliver the shocking news. Would Michael try to pin the crime on Willow to prevent from going down himself? He could easily hide the gun somewhere while no one is watching.
Michael has been desperate to shore up his alibi, and he’s even hired sex worker Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) to help him achieve that goal.
While Michael has just as much reason to shoot Drew as Willow, our money is on the former cult member as the true culprit.
Right now, Anna and Chase see Willow as a victim of Drew. They believe that Willow simply had the misfortune of falling in love with the wrong man.
That could all change if the gun is discovered at Liz’s house. As wonderful and kind as Elizabeth is, she definitely won’t be taking the fall for Weeping Willow.
