Now that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) decided to go against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)’s wishes again, ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers expect some interesting times coming our way.
It’s amazing how dense he and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are about how things work, especially Michael since he wanted to join Sonny in the business at one time, but if all characters were smart there wouldn’t be much drama.
In this case, Joss wanted to bring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) back to Port Charles despite how it’ll make Sonny look weak when he can’t look weak and all because she’s a spoiled lovesick college student.
This has ‘Romeo and Juliet’ written all over it, and no, that wasn’t a romance, it was a tragedy.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Ghost recon mode
Since it appears Dex will be coming back, he’s going to have to avoid quite a few people, so ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers assume he’s had experience doing recon in the military, though he was pretty bad at shadowing people and not being seen before.
This will allow him to keep an eye on Sonny to try to protect him, and we think he could be the one to intercept the shooter, who we still expect to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since he’s returning on Monday.
Or the two will come face to face as Jason also thwarts the shooter since Burton has reportedly stated he’s not the shooter.
It’ll be fun to see how it plays out and we’re looking forward to the big reveal, but there’s another aspect that could be in the cards for the next week or longer.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Dex is killed
Since Dex coming back will show Sonny to be weak, there is a chance that he’ll play it off as wanting everyone to think Dex was working to fool everyone.
Privately, Sonny will be furious once more that Dex and his children crossed him.
But a bigger issue is there’s a good chance Dex returning will put him in the line of fire and get him seriously hurt or killed.
This would open up a whole new storyline where Joss will blame Sonny and maybe herself, and though she’ll try to console her, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could question what was she thinking and if she loved Dex she should’ve let him go.
It could become a intense back and forth between mother and daughter for the Hypocrite Queen crown, and lead to plenty of fun drama as they become the next Sonny and Michael.
