With ABC making the decision not to offer Roger Howarth a new contract and his time with the show coming to an end around the same time as a malpractice lawsuit is hitting ‘General Hospital’, ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers wonder if they are looking to write off Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as well?
Normally we wouldn’t expect it to happen, but at this point it could be a possibility with the lawsuit and the people suing GH and Finn being represented by Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).
Diane doesn’t lose very often, and since Finn’s choices are limited now, it should be interesting to see how this will play out for him.
One thing that we noticed is Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane both warned Finn not to trust the higher ups at the hospital as they’ll look to protect the hospital and let him be the sacrificial lamb.
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) already hinted as much when she told Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) she’s got to follow it by the book.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Testing relationships
This storyline has so much potential to be a great one as it’s going to push everyone’s relationships to the breaking point as they’ll have to choose between their jobs and Finn, and in the middle will be Liz and Terry.
Their friendship goes back a long way, and if Terry does as it being predicted and throws Finn under the bus, there may be no coming back for her and Liz.
It’s also going to make Finn look at everyone twice and be skeptical as to who he can trust when push comes to shove since few will risk their livelihoods to stand by a friend and do the right thing.
Finn’s only chance in this is to win the case, and that’s going to be an uphill battle since he doesn’t have a lot to choose from.
His most likely savior could be Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), and it’ll be fun to see him match wits with Diane.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Preparing for the worst
Finn also has the benefit of his father, who pointed out how the symptoms of Stage 4 cancer would’ve been ignored or brushed off like he did his for ALS, and that would be the type of defense Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) would use.
But ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers agree with Alexis as Scott’s approach wouldn’t win Finn much sympathy and could end up getting him into more hot water.
In the end, if he loses Finn won’t be able to practice medicine, so will the show have him find another path or become an advisor for a company or the government that’ll force him to leave Port Charles and the show?
