General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 5: Pivot
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina’s plan goes awry. It looked bad for her at the end of the last episode, as Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) walked in at the worst possible time. But she clearly didn’t hear enough to think Nina had something to do with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) drugging. But she does see him as a victim now, which is not at all what Nina or Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). But we guess Nina does have a slight chance of turning this thing around. In the promo, Willow asks her if she’s an idiot for believing Drew.
If Carly happens to still be there, we think we know what answer she’ll get! But Nina will obviously take a softer approach to keep Willow’s trust. As people have warned, pushing too hard just makes Willow double down. With proof he was drugged, Nina can’t keep up the same justified anger and hurt on Willow’s behalf.

Elsewhere, Tracy confronted Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) the last time we saw her about the baby. Now, the situation will escalate. Tracy will believe she knows exactly why that baby was given up for adoption. We’ll see if she’s right.

Finally, Joss feels guilty. Obviously, she has a lot of reason to feel guilty. At the party, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) notices her thumb drive is gone. She’ll clearly be upset about it, since she put so much work into the project. But, as someone who’s lost work before because of not backing it up, Emma took a big risk. It would’ve taken a few seconds, really, to back that up on her computer or e-mail herself the file. So, she kind of has herself to blame.
But this will be an interesting test for Joss. She had to hurt someone she knows to get the job done. We wonder if this will make her think a moment before continuing on with her work. At the same time, she was warned what working for the WSB means. So, she could torture herself about it while still thinking she has to stay the course.
