General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 19 reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tries to undo the damage of someone playing God, despite having warned others not to. Meanwhile, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) can’t take it anymore. Plus, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) continues her mission. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 19: Cooler heads
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal cooler heads were at work in the divorce-custody drama. Not having been born yesterday, Sonny decided it was best to do an end-run around Carly and speak to Willow Tait (Katelen MacMullen) directly about the case. In fact, he’ll encourage Willow to ask for a postponement in the case. She would definitely have cause. After all, she had to switch lawyers with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) MIA. And Sonny’s reasoning will likely be to use the time to come up with a private compromise before anyone even steps foot in a courtroom.
That might be needed! See, Nina loses her cool and slaps Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). We’re not sure exactly what she’ll say that will inspire Nina to go so far. But we do know that Carly won’t hesitate to use that as more ammunition against Willow.
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 19: Dog with a bone
Elsewhere, Lulu and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) get new intel. Of course, this means they get more dirt from digging around in what isn’t really their business. And whatever they find must be good. She promises Cody she won’t stop until she has the proof. Why would she? It’s not like lots of people haven’t been warning her off…
General Hospital spoilers for Monday, May 19: Panic
Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has a reason to panic. Why? Because she’s getting dragged into the court drama. She’ll wonder why she has to testify, and we figure this will all be related to that PI who was digging around at the Quartermaines. While she obviously stepped back after the accident and warned Sasha, we imagine whatever notes she’s already passed along will be enough to make Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) smell a story there. And you know he won’t stop until he figures it out. Especially since he’s not exactly a fan of Sonny and many connected to him.
If he has even the slightest hint that Sasha is hiding something, he is going to go all out in the courtroom to bring it out. And he might even make what he did during Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) trial look gentle.
