‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal someone’s on their way back to Port Charles. This somewhat new face is scheduled to make an appearance in time for the holidays. But will she bring trouble along with her? Here’s what you need to know.

We first saw Bonnie Burroughs back in September, when she made her debut as Gladys Corbin. This character is a relative of Mike Corbin (Max Gail). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) got in touch with her because he needed some help making Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) a part of the family. But it wasn’t an easy task.

To do so, and fulfill his desire to help the kid who helped him in Turkey, he needed Gladys to back him up. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers say this was a job. She was a bit stubborn with him. However, everyone has their price and eventually Sonny found hers. Of course, he also made it clear she was to keep her mouth shut. This begs the question—what’s she doing back in town? We see a couple of possibilities.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Number 1
The most obvious one that comes to mind, is it involves Mike. His Alzheimer’s progressed badly recently. With Sonny mulling over what to do, it’s possible he could reach out for some more advice. We already know he asked Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about the situation. Maybe he feels he needs another point of view mixed in. Of course, Mike could do downhill fast as well, prompting Sonny to contact her to say goodbye. But there is another possibility.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Number 2
We know Dev’s presence has been a huge source of contention in the Corinthos house at various times. They’ve also had a couple of close calls, along with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) confessing the scam to both her friends and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). With these two men at odds so often, this would be a horrible time for her to show up for more money in exchange for her continued silence. While she seemed to go along with his demands in that other appearance, if anyone’s come knocking at her door lately to verify things, she might feel the need for extra pay. Or, at least to give Sonny a head’s up.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Another option
Of course, Sonny might also feel the need to keep up appearances. He might think it looks strange for her to not be with Dev during the holidays. Whatever the reason she’ll be back, we’re not expecting it to be innocent and drama-free. That’s not how things operate in a soap town.
