‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers show that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), is starting to shift her perception of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
Instead of seeing him solely as a threat to her son Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Esme is beginning to view him as a potential father figure. With Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), no longer in the picture, Esme has grown reliant on Spencer’s support.
Following Esme’s recent act of helping injured Spencer, they had a significant conversation about their shared past, including a cherished memory involving a snow globe. It seems that Esme desires a reconnection with Spencer, raising the question of how far she is willing to go to make it happen.
Concerns arise among those who knew the “old Esme” that she might reveal her true colors, with or without her memories.
Although Esme claims to have transformed into a new person, there may still be elements of her core personality lingering. It could be a matter of Esme’s strong desires bringing out her sinister scheming nature.
Fans will remember that Esme drugged Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), at the cabin and later filmed Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), in an intimate encounter.
Esme used this situation to frame Trina, nearly leading to her imprisonment. These actions reveal the true nature of Esme at her core.
Additionally, Esme drugged Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno), establishing a pattern of her behavior. The question arises: What if Spencer becomes Esme’s next target for drugging?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) Sets Up Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) To Get Him Back For Good?
This could be the moment when the “old Esme” truly begins to resurface. One possible scenario is Esme slipping something into Spencer’s drink, causing him to lose consciousness and have hazy memories upon awakening.
Esme could manipulate Spencer’s lowered inhibitions and create a situation that leads him to wrong conclusions, such as staging a scene of infidelity and arranging for Trina to catch them together in bed.
Esme’s goal might be to deceive Trina into believing that a drunken Spencer betrayed her, hoping that Trina will end their relationship. Although Spencer may quickly catch on to Esme’s schemes, that wouldn’t necessarily deter her from attempting such a plan.
“The old Esme” always considered herself the most cunning person in the room, believing she could get away with anything. The new Esme may develop similar delusions, hoping to convince Spencer that she is innocent and to mend his broken heart once Trina departs.
Even if Esme realizes that Spencer will never love her as he loves Trina, she may still use a similar scenario to end their relationship out of spite.
