‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers recently indicated that actor Coby Ryan McLaughlin will be stepping away from his role as Shiloh Archer. Now, whether or not this decision was made on his behalf or if it was made by the producers of the show, no one knows for sure. But what we do know is that Shiloh is perhaps the best thing that has happened to Port Charles in a very long time. And yes, we do mean every word of it.
For the last several months Shiloh Archer has been the kind of villain that you just love to hate. As a matter of fact, many ‘General Hospital’ fans have taken to their social media accounts to express just how much they really loathe the guy! You know you are doing a fantastic job when there are people out there who truly hate you, even though you have nothing to do with your character. That’s just how convincing Coby is as Shiloh.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Did Producers Drop The Ball With Shiloh Archer?
Shiloh Archer is a cult leader, a con artist, a master manipulator and a rapist. In other words, he’s the kind of man that you absolutely hate but also can’t keep your eyes off of, just because you want to know what his next move will be. And that’s how it’s been for ‘General Hospital’ fans who have been tuning in every day. They want to know just how low Shiloh is willing to go but at the same time want to see him get caught, too. And let’s face it: the man is easy on the eyes, too.
But now that Shiloh Archer’s days in Port Charles are clearly numbered, some fans can’t help but wonder if ‘General Hospital’ fans drop the ball with him. Can they top another villain like Shiloh in future story lines? Or should Shiloh come back?
