‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that during the week of February 17th to 21st, Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) so-called “mercy killings” could come to an end after someone shoots him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Cyrus Finds Joss At His Hideaway House
The soap’s preview for the week shows that Cyrus will indeed target a new victim, as speculated, and he may not live to regret it.
The preview clip reveals Cyrus preparing to inject someone with a fatal dose of digitalis while Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) shares information with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) pertaining to Cyrus.
As the scenes play on, a clip discloses that Cyrus will find Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at his hideaway house, and later, he arrives at Liz’s home.
Joss and Liz are taken aback to see him, and they have a look of fear in their eyes, but by the preview’s conclusion, shots are fired, and it looks like Cyrus is the one who takes the bullet.
Spoilers for the 2025 preview of GH claimed that Liz will put her life into Lucky Spencer’s (Johnathan Jackson) hands. We must wonder if Lucky comes to Liz’s rescue just as Cyrus is about to hurt the beloved head nurse.
It’s also highly probable that when Cyrus catches Josslyn snooping around, he could attack her, and Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), who’s been encouraging Joss to get the goods on Cyrus, could have followed her and shoot Cyrus before he has the chance to kill Joss.
Cyrus has been eyeing up Elizabeth as his next victim, and spoilers suggest that Cyrus may find out that Liz went to the police, and he’ll most likely seek revenge to silence her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Wants Revenge For Sam And Danny
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is another potential suspect. He warned Cyrus that if he ever laid a hand on his son again, no one would ever find his body.
Cyrus could have another run-in with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Danny may lose his cool again, prompting Cyrus to put another hand on his shoulder to pray with him again. Jason could show up and see Cyrus touching his son and may fire at him.
Deep down, Jason likely also wants to seek retribution for Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) murder and Cyrus leaving poor Danny motherless.
Sam was the love of Jason’s life, and we can’t see her death going unpunished. Jason also has a habit of being at the right place at the right time, and he could be the one to follow Joss when he realizes she may be in danger and shoot Cyrus just as he’s about to strike.
He may not only be saving Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) daughter’s life, but he could also expose Brennan’s plan that landed Joss in danger.
Cyrus seems not to have a clear motive for his killings. We still don’t know why he murdered Sam, but fans suspect it may be because he didn’t want Sam to be a donor for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins).
Speculation is rampant that Cyrus’s reign of terror will soon be a disturbing memory. Observers will be on the edge of their seats to learn how all this Digitalis drama ends.
