‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has evil plans that will affect everyone in Port Charles. He recently struck a deal with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but we weren’t exactly privy to all the gory details.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Made a Deal with the Devil
Nina offered Cyrus a television show that is affiliated with Aurora Media in exchange for him dropping the assault charges against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Yes, Nina was booted out of Crimson on her behind, but Cyrus could still get a television show if she made the contract between the magazine and him, but not directly with her.
Cyrus will become the next prominent cult leader, walking in the footsteps of Shiloh “Hank” Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). No one is buying Cyrus’s reformed act, certainly not Nina.
However, she was desperate to help Sonny and saw a chance to swoop in and save him. Cyrus talks a big game with his “unwavering” belief in God.
He talks a lot about his new relationship with God and how he has changed, and he quotes from Scripture that he clearly doesn’t understand or respect.
Cyrus is not a man of honor; he has a bigger plan, like the holy one he is trying so hard to emulate. Cyrus’s aspiration to “lead” people and get them to follow him is not unlike Shiloh’s plans with Dawn of Day.
At first, Dawn of Day was under the guise of a volunteer group that he paid for with the money he made as a life coach.
It turns out he would single out rich donors to give money to the organization as a charity donation and then steal some of the money. He was also a predator of women.

Cyrus may be trying to do the same thing. He may even start to have a significant following in Port Charles. He could easily use religion for his gain, much like Shiloh.
It is also possible that Cyrus was once involved with Shiloh through Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel). Cyrus helped Harmony get released from prison in 2019, and he blackmailed her into working for him.
Harmony once admitted to Jordan Ashford (then played by Briana Nicole Henry) that if she didn’t help Cyrus, he would hurt the people she loved.
The question is, why did Cyrus go to the trouble to help Harmony? Did he know her through Shiloh? The show never really explained it.
Cyrus may have secretly worked with Shiloh and Harmony for Dawn of Day. But now, instead of Shiloh calling the shots, Cyrus would be the one to lead.
Cyrus could try to recreate Dawn of Day because he wants the power that comes from being a cult leader and the allegiance he would earn from his many targets.
Cyrus could have also been the reason that Shiloh targeted Sonny’s daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (then played by Lexi Ainsworth)
Port Charles could be in serious trouble if Cyrus gets what he wants. It could be like Dawn of Day all over again. Hopefully, Sonny can put an end to Cyrus before that happens.
