‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers make it known that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has been outed as Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Autin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) boss.
This shocking twist in the story could be due to the temporary writers who switched sexes on us from a woman boss to a man. Here we were, thinking Selina Wu (Lydia Look) may be the big cheese.
Austin arrived at Pentonville to examine Cyrus after his heart attack. He revealed that he had known Cyrus for most of his childhood. He talked about how his mom didn’t cry when he was around.
We wonder what the actual relationship between the two of them was. Austin also talked about how generous Cyrus was for paying for his education so that he could become a doctor.
Of course, to get to the point, he said he was done with Cyrus and wanted out. Cyrus laughed at him but allowed him to go.
But not before sneakily slipping Cyrus that memory card hidden in the medicine bottle lid and Austin revealing the astonishing truth that he saved Nicholas’s (Adam Huss) life.
Where is Nicholas these days on General Hospital? We guess he is hiding in Pawtuck somewhere, plotting revenge against his beloved wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: We Want to See More
The prison scene between Cyrus and Austin was a fascinating exchange that left us wanting to know more about the past shared between the two characters. Could they be family and related to each other somehow?
Maybe so, since Austin is a likable but sketchy character at best, hopefully, another big reveal in the not-so-distant future will delve deeper into Austin’s background.
In the prison, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) talked to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about how he saved Cyrus’s life.
Drew said that the two of them were “bonded for life,” which threw Carly for a loop, and she reminded him that Cyrus has a long list of enemies who may want to go after him for helping Cyrus.
We buy that Drew is such a good guy that he would put someone else’s life above his own, but Carly was bothered by him lending a hand. This Cyrus thing is going to affect a lot of people.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Family Ties
Another thought that could change everything is the possibility that Mason is Cyrus’s son. That would explain the bond between Cyrus and Austin. It would also explain why Mason is so creepy.
The two of them together could wreak a lot of havoc on Port Charles, and it seems like they have already started.
Cyrus could be secretly broken out of jail by his son, Mason, and the two of them could plot against Sonny and attempt to take down his organization.
Meanwhile, what was that weird exchange between TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Mason the other day? Is it just because Mason resembles action star Vin Diesel, or is something else happening here?
We suspect that Mason was one of Cyrus’s men who kidnapped and drugged TJ in 2020. Jordon Ashford (then played by Briana Nicole Henry) would work with him to save her son.
