‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have been hoping that there was some mistake in Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)’s diagnosis, but time’s running out and it looks like we won’t get that miracle.

Honestly, we’d love to see him continue his relationship with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and see where it can go, but it doesn’t look good.

Gregory’s storyline is one about the resilience, reconciliation, and the power family bonds can have when dealing with a tragedy or any obstacles and it’s been great to watch unfold.

Unfortunately, the show likes doing this. They bring in cool characters and kill them off to bring others closer together, but there could be a way to keep him around.

All it’ll take is some creative ingenuity by the writers and a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Finn’s at a loss

This storyline is really tearing at Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as he’s an infectious disease expert and there’s nothing he can do. ALS is out of his field of expertise and there is no cure.

But what is Gregory was misdiagnosed? Sure, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are holding onto that hope, but the writers could come up with a bacteria or other disease that mimics ALS to some degree.

We find it hard that Finn hasn’t been pouring over Gregory’s bloodwork and other tests to see if he can’t find something. If they would go this route, it’d be a cool race against time as Finn tries to crack the code and save his father.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Doesn’t have to succeed

General Hospital spoilers Finn is shocked GH

As much as we’d love for Gregory to stay around thanks to a miracle, Finn could fall short.

If he does find something and figures out how to treat it, the damage to Gregory would be unrepairable, and while he’s living a shell of a life, there wouldn’t be any more progression.

Add to that Finn could create a viable treatment that may even work with ALS to some extent and help prolong lives and hold off the disease’s advancement.

It’s a bit much and we don’t see the show doing it, but since they could have a doctor and nurse not know Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was alive, they could do something along these lines.

It may not be the happy ending we want, but it’ll be a good ending and add something to the show’s lore while still bringing focus to the terrible disease.

Should the show find a way to save Gregory? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
