‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that it’s great that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will live, but it seems like she is being let off the hook for her crimes against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
By having Anna shoot Charlotte, it makes her seem like she did something wrong or that she’s careless, instead of the focus being on what Charlotte did to Anna and getting Charlotte the help that she needs.
General Hospital Spoilers: Charlotte Should Take Responsibility
Granted, it is all Valentin Cassadine‘s (James Patrick Stuart) fault for not confiding in Anna that Charlotte was her stalker.
However, Charlotte broke into Anna’s room at the Metro Court and trashed it, and if she did burn Anna’s house down, she should be made to take responsibility.
Even though Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) brainwashed Charlotte, it’s still absurd that she would go as far as to stalk Anna or possibly burn her house down.
The good news about this crazy storyline is that it finally gave Finola Hughes a meaty story to play, and she hasn’t missed a beat yet. She has played this story with rich complexity and believable emotion.
When she first realized she shot Charlotte, she went from super spy mode to frantic and horrified effortlessly.
Anna’s reaction was realistic, and the intense fear and devastation she felt upon learning she shot Charlotte was palpable.
Viewers were uncertain if Charlotte would make it, but she did, and now Valentin has a lot of explaining to do.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that Charlotte will tell her side of the story, but the question remains whether the police will hold her accountable somehow. Yes, she is only a teenager, but she should know right from wrong.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What Fans Are Saying….
GH fans took to Instagram with strong opinions about what happened, and many think that Charlotte must be dealt with.
They also think the adults in the situation should have been more responsible, especially Valentin, who deserved Anna slapping him in the face.
One viewer remarked,
“It’s Valentin’s fault. Charlotte is a little demon and shouldn’t have been in Anna’s apartment.”
Someone commented,
“Charlotte in her apartment dressed as the Grim Reaper. I say Anna’s cleared on this one.”
Another viewer made the statement,
“It’s Valentin who is responsible. Anna was clear that she was armed, and he said nothing. He could have told her his suspicions and clarified that he was getting Charlotte help. Instead, he lied, always his first choice.”
One fan exclaimed,
“Glad to see Anna punching Valentin. He needs a wake-up call.”
Valentin finally admits to Anna that Victor used Charlotte to torment Anna. The spray-painted message “Murderer” on her front door, the trashed hotel room, and breaking into Anna’s new apartment, and it was Charlotte all along. Not to mention, she is possibly an arsonist.
Anna reacts by slapping Valentin as hard as she can. She even jumps up a little bit to get a good aim. He brought it on himself.
Charlotte has been a brat for a long time, and she needs an adult willing to teach her the right way to act. It honestly doesn’t look like Valentin is up for the job.
