ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we still don’t know who Cameron Mathison will be playing when he enters Port Charles. However, we do know what he’s doing in the meantime, and it involves another soap star.
Recently, he posted several pictures to his Instagram that relate to the project and the path to filming. Let’s take a look at what’s up, and how one was a sweet throwback message.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The project
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal this actor is staying busy while he waits to join the cast. Mathison mentioned he was filming a movie in Canada, and we now have more details about the project. Apparently, he’ll be revisiting an old project with Days of Our Lives actress Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady).
The movie is part of a mystery series that centers on Sweeney’s Hannah Swensen. The series is called, “Murder, She Baked” and last hit the small screen in 2017.
The series also co-stars former One Life to Life actress Barbara Niven. This installment will find her and Mathison’s characters engaged. But, as expected in a mystery series, a murder complicated their wedding plans and possibly their relationship.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Throwback
To prepare for production, the actors had to quarantine for two weeks. Mathison must have been feeling sentimental during his downtime, as he shared an Instagram post of him and his family.
Wrote Mathison, “Whenever I’m away for work I bring this framed photo with me. It was taken after coming home from shooting a Hallmark movie, and that was the reception I got. I don’t remember who took the shot, but grateful they did.”
The shot depicted Mathison and his family hugging in front of what appears to be a Fall wreath. He’s got a content look on his face as embraces them. That’s not the only post she’s shared related to these movies and his time away.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: One with nature
We mentioned before Mathison was planning to use his time in isolation wisely. From a recent post, we think he definitely accomplished the rest/reset thing he was talking about before. The post is a series of nature photos that begins with Mathison leaning against a tree with his eyes closed.
He captioned the shot pictures, “Day 14 of quarantine. Will I be happy to be out in the world… sure. Will is miss this rare experience of supreme quiet and relaxation… absolutely.” The post, from one week ago, makes us want to find a quiet retreat as well. It definitely looks like it agreed with him.
