What‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been noticeably trying to get closer to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and so far, she’s succeeding.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Could Be Deceiving Sonny and Drawing Him into Her Web
Recently, Sonny even kissed the martini-drinking vixen, and she didn’t exactly put up a fight. Ava has become indispensable to Sonny, as she is the only person he believes he can trust.
Sonny thinks Ava is his anchor, but little does he know she’s deceiving him and encouraging him to drink. We recently discovered who the big bad Pikeman boss is, and he’s out to take Sonny down.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tampered with Sonny’s bipolar medication to unravel the mafia boss and ensure that Sonny destroys himself. Heaven forbids Valentin to get his pretty little hands dirty.
Who else knows a thing or two about switching bipolar meds with placebos? Ava does. She meddled with Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) medicine in 2016, which indirectly contributed to his untimely death.
Granted, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) was the one who planted the bomb in Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car, but it was Ava who got Morgan to go off the rails.
It’s a plausible theory that whoever killed Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and threatened Ava may have blackmailed her into helping Pikeman and annihilate Sonny.
We never got the answer to the whodunit, and our bet is on someone connected with Pikeman. It may have been under Valentin or Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) orders.
Someone was trying to blackmail Ava, and it falls in line with the person who left the gun at her apartment.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Could Be Working With Valentin
Since the gun was linked to the Metro Court shooting, and the intended target was Sonny, it could have been the person who shot at him that day.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) purposefully made the shooter miss the target at the warehouse, but that doesn’t mean he was the Metro Court shooter.
Jason would never hit an innocent person like Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), not even by mistake. The Metro Court shooter was most likely someone very much on the inside.
Think about it. Why would Ava be sent one of the stolen WSB guns, and what was the purpose of the picture of a dead Austin lying on the floor bleeding? It stands to reason that Ava is working with someone on behalf of Pikeman.
It all has to be connected somehow. Pikeman could have blackmailed Ava into helping them, and she could have been the one to suggest switching Sonny’s meds.
Perhaps Valentin’s plan only goes so far. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could figure out that Sonny’s meds were tampered with….But maybe by the time someone figures out what’s going on with Sonny, Ava could be whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What is Ava Up To Now
Ava has already gotten Sonny’s attention; anything can happen with him off his meds. It still strikes us as a bit shifty that suddenly, Ava is Sonny’s closest confidant.
Writers never did get those pesky loose ends tied up concerning Austin’s murder. The old writers didn’t exactly give us the complete story. Hopefully, our questions will be answered soon. The new writers have a lot of explaining to do.
