‘General Hospital’ spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) shared a forbidden kiss in the February 23rd episode of GH.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Justine Would Undoubtedly Throw the Book at Sonny
Unsurprisingly, in the next episode, Justine slapped Sonny and informed him, “It would never happen again.” Justine’s reaction was very in character for her.
We never doubted Justine was ambitious enough to pursue a case against the biggest mob boss on the Eastern seaboard.
However, we think in the case of the kiss, which was clearly mutual, “The Lady doth protest too much.” These two people are obviously attracted to each other.
We can see the lines getting blurred. Sonny and Justine have been playing the long game in the flirtation department.
One evening, Justine stopped by Sonny’s house when she had a flat tire. She ended up staying there for dinner as Sonny made his famous pizza for her.
His adorable little girl, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), invited her to eat dinner with them, so how could she resist?
Later, Sonny and Justine even went on a date together at the hatchet range, where Sonny had made lasagna for her. Apparently, Sonny’s homemade Italian food is irresistible.
So, there has been a lot leading up to this kiss, but will they be willing to put aside the fact that they are both on opposite sides of the law, or are they simply playing each other?
Interestingly, in today’s episode, Sonny confided in his brother, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), and Justine confided in Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Both told their respective confidants about the kiss.
Ric warned Sonny that Justine may be working him to secure a conviction, while Jordan warned the ADA that getting involved with a criminal was not only dangerous but could tank her career.

Longtime fans know that Sonny has been romantically involved with women with a badge before, but somehow this feels different.
What’s so intriguing about Sonny and Justine is that the attraction they have for each other doesn’t take away from their intention to play this game of cat and mouse and see where it goes.
Justine is a career-driven woman with goals and ambition, while Sonny is a self-made man through his “coffee business.” Of course, no one has been able to put Sonny behind bars as he’s untouchable.
We all know that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would also caution Sonny when it comes to Justine. He wouldn’t trust Justine not to prosecute Sonny if she had it her way. It would be a career boost.
Sonny and Justine would likely turn on each other, but they would also land in bed together if given the opportunity. Did anyone else notice that little smile Justine had when Sonny chased after her yesterday?
She likes him, and he likes her. And this is definitely a case of opposites attract. Sonny and Justine also have some chemistry working for them in their favor. So, it could be interesting.
All we know is that we aren’t exactly rooting for another reboot of the Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) pairing for the zillionth time.
Truthfully, the idea of Sonny getting involved with Justine while Carly gets involved with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) seems like it would be much more fun to watch.
