‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers are curious about the current mystery Port Charles finds itself in another convoluted mystery as who is after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) takes another twist.
It seemed like she had some closure with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) being found out, even if Anna messed up big time by visiting her and terrifying her more than she already was.
But things took another turn after the documents she had on the one person she felt could be after her disappeared and now he’s been run over by a car.
While Anna may face some uncomfortable questions regarding her possible role in the hit and run as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) works to clear her and help her figure out who’s after her, there is the chance this killer is the same on that took out Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: No sign of Austin yet
Since Austin was shot and left for dead on Friday, November 17’s episode, there hasn’t been a single word or reference on Austin’s fate aside from the actor announcing he wasn’t offered a new contract.
At first, we thought the surprise victim was Austin until the doctor listed all of the injuries suffered and it obviously wasn’t Austin but the former WSB agent Anna was sure was after her.
The thing that’s been on ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers’ minds have been the legs we’ve seen from the fire being set at Anna’s house and then stepping around Austin after he was shot.
We could be wrong, but the way the person moved looked the same and in both shots. This doesn’t mean it’s the same person, but it’s too close for our liking.
This opens up the question as to who this person is, and what’s the connection between Austin and Anna?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The missing link?
Of course, there’s a chance this was the same one Anna suspected, but we doubt he’s the one an this is someone else working behind the scenes, but why?
One possibility is Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is behind it, but this doesn’t feel like something he’d be involved with, which leads ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers to believe it’s another part of Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy)’s plan.
It’s clear even in death he won’t stop at anything to destroy Anna, but does that mean Austin somehow figured into his plans as well? Or maybe he was a separate job?
We’re curious to see what the writers have in mind for this and if the two are related.
