‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers confirm that Josh Swickard, who plays Harrison Chase on GH, is expecting his third child with his wife, Lauren Swickard.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Josh and Lauren Announce the Joyous News On Instagram
In a joint Instagram post, Josh and Lauren Swickard announced the joyous news. Lauren wrote, “Exciting New Year’s Eve update from the Swickard family, “Just a couple more months….”
Her message was accompanied by a sweet video featuring the happy couple and their young children, Savannah and Arthur. The video features their farm, Lauren’s baby bump, and some adorable family moments.
The home is outside of Los Angeles, and the message read, “The Swickard farm is growing!” Lauren did the Snoopy dance as they celebrated her pregnancy.
She posed for photos alongside her son and daughter. The footage also showed Josh on horseback with Arthur and Savannah at her dance class.
Josh married Lauren in 2019. They met while playing opposite each other in the movie Roped. They later starred together in the Netflix movie, A California Christmas.
Lauren wrote the Christmas film and its sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights. In 2023, Lauren landed a brief role on GH, playing a nurse named Janice, who worked at Ferncliff.
Josh was incredibly proud of his wife. He dished to Soap Opera Digest about Lauren’s time on the set, “I was more nervous than Lauren was, just because I knew what a weird beast it is to shoot a soap opera.”
He continued, “Most of her work lately has been feature film stuff, which is just a completely different flow. But I was blown away by how calm and composed she was.”
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Trouble In Paradise for Chase and Brook Lynn Is Ahead
Right now, Josh’s character on GH is facing suspension from his police duties for his rogue detective work aimed at proving Willow Cain‘s (Katelyn MacMullen) innocence.
Her trial is currently in motion as she’s been accused of shooting her own husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Chase is not only risking his career as a cop at the PCPD, but he’s also risking his marriage to the love of his life, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Willow is his ex-girlfriend, and he’s spending an excessive amount of time helping her in this case. We wouldn’t blame Brook Lynn if she pulled away from him.
GH spoilers indicate that Brook Lynn will put her adoption plans on hold because of his investigation and suspension. Plus, Chase is also currently clashing with Brook Lynn’s cousin, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
Chase is too focused on Willow and not his wife. Only time will tell whether Chase and Brook Lynn have what it takes to move forward and start a family together.
In the meantime, Soap Opera Digest shared Josh’s announcement from when Josh and Lauren’s son, Arthur, was born and their move to the farm.
He told SOD, “This whole chapter is one of those times where it’s so hard in the moment, but looking back on it, you’ll be like, it was so happy and fun and adventurous! It’s been a crazy time, but so fun, though! We’re really excited about this next chapter in our family!”
