Florida governor Ron DeSantis is standing by his decisions through the COVID-19 pandemic and explained in a video that “the medical science didn’t change, the political science did.” As other states are beginning to life mask mandates in schools and other areas, DeSantis had a message for them.
In a clip that was uploaded to Twitter, he dunked on other states saying that the science was the same all along, it was just their political leanings that led them to the answer they wanted to hear. Hear the clip for yourself down below.
After two years of nonsense, understand this:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Says The ‘Medical Science Didn’t Change, The Political Science Did’
The video received mixed responses, oddly enough, it was either one side of the spectrum or the other. It was either how he was a murderer and put his people’s lives at risk or how people were moving or had already moved to Florida.
However, in New York and California, which are comparable to Florida, California had more deaths and cases, and New York is just 1,000 fewer deaths. Where they went to extremes with social distancing and masks, Florida left things open and the numbers are VERY comparable. Similar to Texas. While Texas is #2, the numbers again are comparable and much of Texas had remained open. So, the results seem to be the same or similar regardless of mandates or not.
DeSantis is still a top contender to run for President in 2024 as well, either instead of or alongside Donald Trump. Though, we’ll wait and see how that turns out. Regardless, I’m not sure we’ll see President Joe Biden return. Like him or not, he doesn’t seem to be living up to the hype and has literally had stumble after stumble during his presidency.
