Hollywood actress Eva Mendes was recently forced to clap back at her haters after one Instagram commenter suggested that she was absent from social media because she went to get “work done.” In other words, the critic thinks that Eva took time off to get plastic surgery. Even though she knows that she has better things to do, Eva took a moment on Saturday to reply to an Instagram user who left a comment about her getting “work done” and not being “happy with it.”

“Why you post on insta… so less ????” The inquisitive Instagram user wrote.
“She’s had work done and I don’t think she’s happy with it,” another commenter wrote. “She was beautiful without.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for Eva to respond. She set the record straight and said that she took time off from social media because she wanted to spend more time with her family.
“I’m not sure why I’m answering you but here I go. I’m posting less because I really want to be present for my family. My little ones need me and posting takes up too much time,” Mendes replied.
“As far as getting work done, I’ll do that whenever I please. But no, that’s not the reason. The reason is I personally cannot juggle family and social media. So -big shocker -I choose family. Lotsa love to you out there.”
Just last week, Eva shared an infographic on Saturday about empowering your child and allowing for them to “call you out,” as well as providing a personal anecdote of how her on child did so.
“I haven’t posted lately because my little one told me I was on the phone too much. I could tell she was taking it personally,” Mendes revealed. “And she’s a kid, of course she’d take it personally.”
“They take things personally unless we go out of our way to make it clear to them it’s not personal. So we had [a] good talk, I apologized and I promised her I’d be mindful,” she continued. “I realized that just because I’m always home with them doesn’t mean I’m always present.”
