El Final del Paraíso spoilers for Wednesday, August 14th up the ante, as a new miracle cure (and plan for a plague) is revealed, Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) is ready to kill herself, Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido) tries to kill her family (Liseth Muriel, played by Margarita Torres) and Mirtha Muriel (Gloria Pinilla) , a big Vegas meeting is underway, and Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) tries to figure out what happened with José Luis Vargas (aka: Jota, played by Francisco Bolívar). El Final del Paraíso spoilers: A cure in sight?
Mano Negra (Juan Pablo Gamboa) teases Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) with a miracle cure for her HIV. He tells her he’s had a cure for a while now, but Diabla is skeptical. Something like that would be a goldmine, so why hasn’t he already unleased it if he has it? He’s going to get to that. He is willing to give it to her, assuming she does something for him first.

He claims a demand needs to be created by infecting people first. The scene cuts to shots of people getting injections at various hospitals. He wants to create a pandemic before putting it out there.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: What happens in Vegas
In order to get the first of six doses on X6 (hence the name), Diabla has to go to Vegas for a big narco meeting with Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque) and Demonia. There, she is to deliver their other drug. She agrees, but she’s no fool. She demands to get a dose of the miracle cure first. Mana Negra is compliant, but Diabla is still doubting a lot of things. The rest of the doses will each come after she completes a task for each.

To that end, she asks her trusty employee Esteban Calvo (Manuel Gómez) to bring a kit designed to get a sample and then bring her blood for independent testing to make sure she really has the disease. If she does, she wants Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos) to get tested as well. But she wants Calvo to make sure his results come out positive, no matter what they really are.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: I’m a narco, not a nanny
Upon hearing about this trip to Vegas, Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) wants to go. Mariana says that Mano Negra was clear that it would be her, Dayana, and Diabla only. Titi wants to know what he’s supposed to do, to which she suggests he, you know, look after their daughter. He claims he’s a drug trafficker, not a nanny. Mariana says he better figure out how to be one, because this is how it is.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: ¿Qué pasa con Jota?
Jota was given the XY4 today, which had a similar effect as the other previous lab rats. Jota manages to take off and is running through the streets of Pereira when Albeiro sees him. He chases his old friend and tries to talk him down, but Jota is totally gone. He, in fact, jumps off a bridge onto a garbage truck. This forces Albeiro to steal someone’s car so he can chase his friend down.

When he finds Jota, he’s unresponsive and gets rushed to the hospital. Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez) and Cata Grande join him as they wait for word. Cata Grande speaks to one of the doctors after Albeiro told her what happened. She says it’s similar to a case she’s working on, and wants all the details. She also ends up asking for access to the body of the other suspected victim of this possible new drug.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Triangle from hell
If there’s one thing that makes us twitchy about this insane show, it’s the mother/daughter love triangle involving Catalina la Grande and Doña Hilda. Cata Grande had been Albeiro’s girlfriend before Cata Grande went prepago and left to chase narcos. He then ended up hooking up with Doña Hilda, who he’s been with for 20 years. They have a child, too, Catalina Marín Santana (Carolina Gaitán). She’s called Cata la pequeña, but we refer to her as Cata 2.
Anyway, Cata Grande and Albeiro are worrying over Jota when Albeiro decides to kiss Cata Grande. Of course, Doña Hilda arrives and see this. She is upset, even though things were basically over between them. He’d told her last season he wanted to be back with Cata Grande following her return for the alleged dead. To Cata Grande’s credit, she does tell Albeiro that nothing can happen unless her mother is okay with them being a couple.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Running scared
Meanwhile, Dayana has gone back to the house her sister (who she tried to sell to El Titi last season) and mother live. She tells them to get lost, as she wants the place. If they need money, she suggests her sister (Liseth) start making use of what’s between her legs. Liseth refuses to demean herself and they fight over it. This ends with Dayana about to shoot her own sister. The sinvergüenza is knocked unconscious from behind by her mother (Mirtha) and the pair run off.
When the skanky sister-seller comes to, she runs out to her bodyguards and rips them a new one for the fact she nearly was killed and no one noticed.
Liseth calls Cata 2 and Hernán Darío Bayona, aka Nachi. (Juan Pablo Urrego) Nachi is Cata 2’s husband. She begs for help and they suggest hiding at Dona Hilda’s.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Ending it all
Doña Hilda, distraught over that kiss and miserable over the waste of twenty years, ends up going home and pulling out a gun. She rants a bit about the situation before pressing the barrel to her chest.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Saved by the crisis
Cata 2 calls to explain the situation with Liseth and her mother. Dona Hilda agrees to let them stay with her, but after she hangs up she tries to kill herself. She almost does, but the pair shows up in time to interrupt.
She invites them in and, upon learning they have sewing skills, gives them a job with her and a home. She’s glad to not be alone.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Fashion week ahead
Finally, thanks to a mouthy Liseth, she accepts a dinner invitation from Salvatore Miranda (Martín Karpan). While they eat, she eventually accepts his offer to participate in fashion week. Seems her designs are getting lots of buzz.
