El Final del Paraíso spoilers reveal that while we’re in a new era, the insanity has not stopped as we are now apparently dealing with a synthetic drug that makes zombies out of people, Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) is clueless as ever, her ex, Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique), is desperate to prove himself, the Cartel de las Babies is making moves, and Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) finally learns a hard truth. If you missed it, let’s catch you up with a El Final del Paraíso recap.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Zombie attack
We begin with Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo, who is ordering a bunch of girls to get moving on a shipment they need to make to Carmelo Villa (Juan Ángel Esparza).
He’s soon joined by Pilar (Margarita Reyes), who is holding their latest creation. It’s a synthetic drug called XY4 that El Titi tries to sample, but Pilar won’t let him. She’s got a human lab rat for that.
The unfortunate guy is ordered at gunpoint by El Titi and Pilar to take the pill. By now, they’ve been joined by two of the Cartel de las Babies: Mariana Sanín Santana (Stephania Duque) and Dayana “La Demonia” Muriel (Elianis Garrido). They watch as the guy takes the drug and basically hulks out. No joke. He also manages to take at least 5 bullets without really being bothered. In fact, he just seems to get stronger and more destructive and eventually escapes to create some havoc outside.
They obviously decide this drug is too strong and needs to be adjusted.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: ¡Qué patético!
Meanwhile, Catalina, jefa of the DEA (so we’re back to DEA now after three seasons of TEA? Okay…) is watching the news report about the havoc our aforementioned unfortunate victim is causing. She is doubtful of the report, thinking that whatever he’s on has to be far stronger than what’s indicated.
Her trusty sidekick, Valeria Montes (Kimberly Reyes, who is in reality Diabla with a new face) promises to take charge of checking this out, but they’ve got other problems. She believes that Titi is a sponsor of the “Cartel de las Babies”. Catalina speaks for us all when she calls it a pathetic name, and doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “Valeria” says she thinks the cartel is going to bring them more tears than anything. She’s allowed to leave to follow up on some things.
El Final del Paraiso spoilers: Cata’s nightmare
That wasn’t the only bad news for Catalina today. She learns that her daughter, Mariana, is Number 2 in said cartel. Catalina knows this means that Mariana has to have killed someone, among other crimes. She is pained by the idea she is going to have to arrest and extradite her daughter to the US, but wants to be the one to do it, as she’s afraid of Mariana being hurt.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Women power
Fighting against this female-led cartel is Catalina and her old friends, Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez) and Paola Pizaro (Alejandra Pinzón). We’re still wondering how people pushing 40 are going to be new DEA recruits, but whatever. Paola has joined, determined to get to El Titi after the murder of her daughter, Martina (Joselyn Gallardo).
Besides them, she has new characters Natalia (Linda Baldrich) and Stefany (Nataly Guzman), one of which does not seem to like or trust Cata’s right-hand, Valeria.
El Final del Paraiso spoilers: Back to roots
One night touch in tonight’s episode was the return to the show’s roots, as Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque) is approached at her home/business by Salvatore Miranda (Martín Karpan) to use her designs in a fashion week show. He was sent one of Hilda’s designs by her ex, Albeiro Marín (Fabián Ríos). After realizing he’d done that and this was no joke, she’s thrilled and can’t believe she’s going to have her work on a runway after so many years. Longtime fans since Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso will remember she participated in a fashion show and hired her daughter’s friends as models to get them off the streets.
We also get mention of two No Hay narcos that are about to be released following Cata testifying against them after passing herself off for dead and joining the DEA under a new name: Mauricio Cardona (Danilo Santos) and Pablo Morón (Alí Humar)
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Puppet master
Giving half the funding for the new lady cartel is Mano Nergo (Juan Pablo Gamboa), a guy who is part of a Deep State-type organization that has a lot of influence over politics, entertainment, and more. He wants the current front-runner in the Colombian election, Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta), out. To that end, he’s going to have Diabla get close to the guy and slip him some of their magic drug to totally blow a debate and the race.
He’s also after Cata, and has been digging into her past. He mentions the two soon-to-be-released ex-narcos and learns Cata was once sleeping around with almost every narco around. Right. We’d comment how that wasn’t exactly the case (she only got to few of them), but we’re used to this show playing fast and loose with No Hay’s history.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Bad News
Another great throwback to earlier Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso seasons happens while Diabla discusses her mission with Mano Negro, who had facilitated her infiltration in the DEA. He alluded earlier that there was something in her medical exam that he had to change to allow her to get in.
Diabla is shocked to learn that she is HIV positive, and we (like other longtime viewers) are thrilled to see this finally get out, as Diabla was infected around season 1 by a doctor she’d threatened. Kimberley Reyes’ acting in the scene is awesome, and she’s proving to be quite capable of filling the former actress’ shoes, as she is nailing Majida Issa’s vocal inflections and mannerisms. We’re curious to see how Reyes handles this going forward. We’re also glad her trademark snark and attitude hasn’t changed along with the face, as other shows tend to alter a character after a recast.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Next…
One plot we’re not caring about is Santiago’s mission to break out of jail with the help of La Sombra (Mauricio Cujar) so he can clear himself of the false murder charges and get back his family.
Considering this is the same guy who assumed his DEA agent wife was cheating and turned his back on her, hooked up with an ex, and then left his two minor children alone in a foreign country while Catalina was missing and said have fleed with her narco ex, we think he can disappear any day now.
On a related note, we’re happy to learn that Santiago’s ex, Zoraya (Eileen Roca), has been disappeared by Mano Negro after making the mistake of falling in love with her target, Alfonso. Diabla, btw, gets another great moment in when she refers to Zoraya as an idiot after learning this.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Sweet revenge
La Diabla had learned that Villa supposedly was behind her the accident that left her with a new face, so after he OD’s on their new magic drug and swan-dives off a cliff (which, we’re pretty sure everyone but Demonia was counting on), uses this to pump him full of lead to make sure he’s gone.
She also uses this situation to get in good with the DEA by taking down the second biggest narco around. This earns her a medal and TV attention, which is going to help her sabotage Berrio’s campaign, as he’s real big on fighting drugs and will jump to have a hero like her on his team.
El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Pobre Jota
José Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar), aka: Jota, has spent the two years that has passed nursing his wounds over Vanessa leaving him by drinking, gets kidnapped today. He’s going to be the next to sample the cartel’s new invention.
