Dua Lipa announced on her twitter that she was going on a ‘country reset’ after her breakup with her boyfriend of two years, Anwar Hadid. They had tried to make things work for awhile, doing the long-distance thing, but as so often happens for couples that was too difficult to maintain and the relationship fell apart after weeks of agonizing.
The exact details of their break-up aren’t public knowledge, because, let’s face it, it’s pretty fresh and let’s give a girl room to breathe and grieve. It seems that the country reset was just what she needed though because she posted a pictures of her and her girls in Oxfordshire, UK, at a farm, having the time of their lives. She captioned the post with, “Jolly good!”

What will happened to their dog Dexter as well as the $2.5M home they share in Studio City, CA? Well, right now that’s a bit up in the air, but we’ll hope that Dexter is with at least one of his parents.
Our guess is Dad Anwar, since Dua is out of the country and there was no mention (or pictures) of Dexter in the social media post that Dua did when she was in the UK. Someone did say that a few weeks back they spotted Anwar in Aspen with a bunch of influencers and he was flirting with an anonymous blonde woman.
Some fans are wondering if Anwar and Dua’s split had anything to do with the whole family drama that happened between sister Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik with Mom Yolanda Hadid, because it was only a month later that Dua and Anwar broke up, so now fans are wondering if any family drama may have potentially colored the relationship, after all, Zayn pleaded no contest to four counts of harrassment following an altercation with Mama Hadid – and while that fight was supposedly just between them, it has definitely impacted the family.
It could be just a coincidence, but the timing is a little suspect. Breakup or not, it looks like both parties are doing pretty well, all things considered. Stay tuned!!!
