The Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial is currently in deliberations with the jury coming to an answer and everyone had formed their own opinions anyway. It’s been a very lopsided affair and Johnny not only seems to be winning the popular opinion in pop culture, but most likely in court.
While proving defamation can be difficult, and still may not happen for Johnny, Heard and her team have certainly made it way easier. They’ve fumbled at every moment, lied, and have just looked foolish in front of Depp’s team.
Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan believes it is a complete smear campaign against Depp and didn’t shy away from laying into Heard on his podcast.

Heard lied about donating 7 million dollars to charity, however, Depp’s attorney Camille Vasquez didn’t let her get away with it. Over and over again, Heard claimed that she had ‘pledged’ the money, and compared it to getting a mortage for a house. She railed into her and Heard continued to lie on the stand.
Viewers reacted to the clip saying, “I can’t imagine how a person would lie time and time again and get caught and still believe that she’s telling the truth while trying to live the lie. It’s beyond unbelievable. The level of narcissism and delusion is unreal.”, “I love Joe for showing the clip to his entire audience…i don’t want her fooling even 1 uninformed person into thinking she’s in the right!” and “That whole “pledge” vs “donate” thing is so mind numbing. She’s so delusional.”
Rogan believes that Johnny is going to win and that Heard is dead in the water. While the jury deliberates, I believe many Americans feel the same.
