Radio Rahim joined Joe Rogan on his podcast and spoke about boxing for a while during the episode. Of course, one of the things that got brought up was Jake Paul. At the moment, Paul is doing a lot of promoting work and will still step back into the ring, but the question is, how would he do against a real boxer?

Sure, he has shown some promise in his first matches, but those were against MMA guys and Tyron Woodley who was 40 (or pushing 40 at the time). While Rahim is skeptical of the young man, Rogan thinks he might be the real deal. They just need to see.

In the discussion, they talk about if Paul was a boxer coming up and didn’t have any fame behind him. Would he still be getting all the hype he has been getting? It’s a difficult question to answer, but if he was just a regular boxer coming up and knocking guys out, his name would probably be going around.

Rogan spoke about his footwork and the way he faints jabs and moves and how he looks legit. He’s trained with real warriors and has gotten some great work in, but how would he fair against a boxer who has been doing this their whole life and training like a boxer? We may just have to stick him in the ring and see how he does!

I think Paul is a fantastic athlete, no doubt about it, and showed great work inside the ring against MMA guys, but it would certainly be a great test to see him up against a true boxer. It’d be like an arena football guy going to the NFL. Is Paul the Kurt Warner of boxing?

What do you think? How would Paul fair against a true boxer and do you think he could be the real deal? Let us know in the comments below.
