‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that excitement has been boiling over ever since ‘Days of Our Lives’ dropped their summer preview. With so much action stuffed into one small sizzle reel, we don’t know which we are most excited for; the love triangle, the murder mystery, the surprise reunions or something else. Let’s unpack:

With Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) reign of masked terror over , along with her relationship with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Brady is free to pursue Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). But then, so is her savior, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Currently fans are split on who they’d like to see win the blue-eyed beauty’s heart, so it seems this is a battle royale that could tease fans for a while.

When the 20 somethings head out for a day at the lake they end up discovering a body in the water. We don’t know who the body belongs to or how they ended up there, but as quickly as you can say Jan killed Charlie, it seems we have another murder mystery on our hands. Not only is this always fun for viewers, it gives Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) something to do other than take his shirt off and be ogled by his cousin-in-law.

Okay, so we all knew E.J. DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was headed back to Salem, but bringing his son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was a wonderful surprise. The shock that has gotten fans talking, though, is the reappearance of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). We doubt things will end with a ‘happily ever after’ for Eric and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), it was quite the shocker that we get to see the Ericole marriage unravel on screens, rather than by phone call.
As an added bonus, though we were aware Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was coming back to Salem this summer, it’s always a crowd pleaser when she is on screens.
