The other deceased resident is Adrienne Johnson (Judi Evans). This shocking reveal came during a scene between Sonny and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). The touching moment came as father and son met for something to eat in town. Justin couldn’t believe it’d only been a year since he married Adrienne in that very spot. Poor Sonny lamented his mother’s loss, and how he keeps expecting her to show up again and say it was all a mistake. But that’s not the only surprise today.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Mystery solved—sort of
In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, fans were stunned to learn that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) managed to wind up behind bars in the missing year. He mentions to cellmate Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) that he’s different, because he owns and accepts the mistake he made. Can we just take a minute and marvel at the idea that a former serial killer was placed in the same cell as one of his victims? Too weird. Anyway, the Will we see here is a different guy. He’s a bit more cynical and dark. He’s also apparently not very popular. We learn during his scenes that no one visits him. So, what happened?
We don’t learn the details, although one can only assume that it was a drunken incident, based on what Will said about making mistakes. We also know that his victim was Adrienne. During the scene between Justin and Sonny, he discusses how he can’t believe his own husband is responsible for Adrienne’s death. So what’s this mean?
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Moving forward
Obviously, the pair are still married. Sonny Kiriakis is wearing a ring in his scene with Justin, and he didn’t use the word “ex” when referring to Will. The obvious lack of visits shows they’re understandably on the outs, but is Sonny still holding out hope to work things out with Will somehow, or is he hesitating in taking off the ring for other reasons? It could be that he sees doing so as making this all real and Sonny isn’t prepared for that. He might be soon, though.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers have also hinted Sonny will get close to a new man, David’s nanny. The pair meet up during the Tuesday, November 12th episode and seem to hit it off. Sonny, however, hesitates to say yes to meeting up for a meal later. There’s strong hints they will in the future, though, as he gratefully accepts an offer to look after Ari when a babysitter is needed. We’ll be curious to see how the rest of this situation plays out over the coming days and weeks.
