‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) may have made herself the top suspect in EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) impending shooting.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gabi Held EJ At Gun Point
While several people would love to see EJ go down, Gabi was the one who came into the DiMera mansion and held EJ at gunpoint.
She was desperate to find out what EJ did with her brother, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Gabi was frustrated and fed up with EJ’s lies.
She probably would have pulled the trigger if JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) had not shown up to talk her down. JJ also told Gabi that Rafe was at the police station.
It is only because her brother was safe that she lowered the gun. Soon, someone will really shoot EJ, and JJ may wonder if Gabi has decided to take justice into her own hands.
The D.A. Belle Black (Martha Madison) should recuse herself from the case since she’s sleeping with the enemy.
Gabi brought this tidbit of information to Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harrison) attention in the March 11th episode of the soap.
Gabi almost convinced Paulina to take Belle off the case. Still, when Belle claimed she was no longer involved with EJ and that Belle could anticipate EJ’s actions, Paulina decided that Belle might be in a unique position to prosecute EJ.
Gabi was baffled, and she commented that if the two of them wouldn’t do their job, she’d have to pursue justice for what EJ did to her brother herself.
It sounded like an ominous threat in EJ’s direction, and Paulina warned Belle that if she suspected the slightest bit of bias in EJ’s favor, she’d not only take Belle off the case, but she’d also fire her.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gabi Likely Won’t Be The True Culprit
Spoilers indicate that later in the week, Belle and EJ will fall back into bed together. Obviously, it doesn’t look like EJ will pay for his crimes anytime soon.
It would be understandable if Gabi became so infuriated with the lack of movement toward putting EJ behind bars that she’d actually shoot him.
We suspect it won’t be Gabi who tries to kill EJ. Gabi is too obviously a suspect, and since her brother has returned from EJ holding him hostage, she wants to enjoy having him back.
Also, Gabi’s already been to prison and never wants to experience that again if she can help it. It’s because of these factors that Gabi likely won’t be the true culprit.
After someone attempts to murder EJ, JJ may worry that Gabi is responsible. Whoever it is may even go as far as planting evidence to incriminate Gabi.
In a recent discussion with Soap Opera Digest, Cherie Jimenez hinted that Gabi may be accused of shooting EJ.
Jimenez also suggested that Gabi’s fury over the Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) and Rafe switch would “lead to more trouble later.”
“It’s going to spiral into a set of circumstances, and it’s going to create a situation where Gabi’s going to be put in an interesting position.” We’ll see how Gabi handles the heat when it all goes down.
