Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) has created a big mess with her partner in crime, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Arianna May Find Sophia’s Letter To Tesoro And Recognize The Handwriting
We have a hunch that Arianna Horton (Marrissa Reyes), who’s been spending an awful lot of time with Sophia lately, will find out that Sophia is Tesoro’s mother and expose the truth.
Initially, we assumed the obvious outcome was that Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) would reveal the truth about Sophia’s baby scam to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), but apparently, HIPAA is enough of a reason for Sarah to keep quiet.
Despite her deception of Tate Black (Leo Howard), Sophia still complained to Ari that things didn’t work out the way she expected.
Tate saw the baby at the Brady Pub, and he had no idea that he was holding his own child. It was a heartwarming moment.
That said, we still empathize with everything Sophia had to go through, including giving birth alone in her room and giving up her son. It was clear that the decision to do so broke her heart.
Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) also bonded with Tesoro. She was smitten with the baby ever since she first laid eyes on him.
Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) read the letter from Tesoro’s mother to the baby, unaware that Sophia had written it.
We predict that someone close to Sophia, like Arianna, recognizes Sophia’s handwriting and confronts her. Ari would be the perfect person to learn that Tesoro belongs to Sophia and Tate.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ari Is Constantly Around Tesoro
Ari is also around Tesoro a lot since she lives with him at her mom, Gabi Hernandez’s (Cheire Jimenez) house. Ari is an observant type of person, and we could see her figuring it out.
Interestingly, Ari has been taking Tesoro all around town recently. She spends enough time with Sophia and Tesoro that she may come to see the resemblance.
Ari knows this hasn’t only been hard on Sophia, but also on Tate, who has been desperate to meet his “little girl.”
Javi thought for a minute that Tesoro might be Sophia’s child, but reasoned that the timing doesn’t make sense. He did, however, realize that the baby looked of Asian descent.
No one knows that Sophia wore a fake pregnant belly for a couple of weeks after giving birth. However, we could see Ari putting the pieces of the puzzle together and realizing that Sophia is Tesoro’s mom.
We can only imagine how hurt and furious Tate will be when he discovers that Sophia lied to him and put him through all that heartache.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia Is Working With Melinda To Deceive Tate
Sophia made Tate sign fake adoption papers, and she even worked with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) whom he despises, after she stole baby Jude and gave him to Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty).
When Tate and Brady find out about Melinda’s involvement, they won’t hesitate to go to the Salem PD, which would undoubtedly end her career as a lawyer.
However, we do feel for Sophia. She was a scared teenage mother who couldn’t see any other way out.
When she broke down in Tate’s arms at the Brady Pub, upon seeing Tesoro, it was heartbreaking. While it doesn’t excuse her recent actions, it must be hell for Sophia to keep this secret.
The truth is bound to come out, and we think Arianna may be the one to blow Sophia’s charade out of the water.
It’s noteworthy to add that Rachel Boyd has been doing a beautiful job handling this tough work. The scene in which she gave birth and subsequently gave up her baby was deeply emotional and her best work on Days so far.
Her achingly honest performance has been raw and relatable. Boyd has played the role of pregnant teen turned desperate mother very convincingly.
