‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has been involved with many lucky ladies in Salem, but only a few have managed to capture his heart.
Let’s start with the first woman who secured a piece of EJ’s soul: Sami Brady (Alison Sweeny). When the two of them met, they had instant chemistry.

However, at the time, Sami was in a relationship with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). When Lucas’s life was in danger, Sami asked EJ for help.
He agreed to save Lucas, but only if she had sex with him. Afterward, Sami discovered that she was pregnant with twins, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Allie turned out to be Lucas’s daughter, and Johnny is EJ’s son. Sami reluctantly agreed to divorce Lucas and marry EJ.
In November 2007, Lucas interrupted their wedding ceremony by shooting EJ in the back, and he ended up paralyzed. Lucas confessed to the crime.
Eventually, Sami and EJ’s relationship changed, and they fell deeply in love. When Lucas returned from prison, Sami left him, and EJ tried to move on with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zuker).
Yet, he was in love with Sami. EJ and Sami had an on-again, off-again romance for years. “EJami” was a fan-favorite couple for years.
While Sami and EJ were apart, EJ often gravitated toward Nicole. She was another woman who seemed to have a hold on EJ.
Sadly for Nicole, her sister, Taylor Walker (Tamara Braun), arrived in Salem, and EJ found himself infatuated with her.
EJ had an affair with Taylor while married to Nicole. He has always been a complicated man and his own worst enemy. He makes significant mistakes when in love.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: “EJole” Was Another Fan-Favorite
The next time EJ and Sami were involved, he had an affair with Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller). It broke Sami when she learned of his deception, but they once again got back on track, and the couple were happy together for a while, until EJ was supposedly murdered.
Of course, like any true DiMera, EJ was brought back to life by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). While some would say that EJ is a no-good scoundrel, he found his heart with Sami and Nicole.
Some fans believe EJ and Sami are soulmates, while others think EJ was at his best when he was with Nicole. Unfortunately, EJ told a lie from which he couldn’t recover, and his marriage to Nicole ended in disaster.
Interestingly, some have also mentioned that when James Scott played EJ, he was perfect with Sami.
However, many cite Dan’s version of EJ having more chemistry with Nicole. Another woman whom EJ claims to love is Belle Black (Martha Madison).
EJ and Belle definitely have an impressive following, but they don’t come anywhere close to “EJami” and “EJole.” Some say “EJelle” has super couple potential and enjoy watching them.
In our opinion, Belle and EJ were a mismatched couple from the start. While Belle may be drawn to EJ’s bad boy persona, she’s supposed to be the moral compass of Salem.

Yet, every chance EJ gets, he seems to make a fool out of Belle. Belle is the town’s district attorney, and it is her duty to uphold the law.
Belle has repeatedly turned a blind eye to EJ’s crimes, many of which were against Belle’s own family. Sami is included in that group of people.
Not only that, but EJ requires someone with more fire. Due to their complex personalities, Sami and Nicole seemed to have a greater spark with EJ compared to Belle.
Belle seems too sweet for EJ. He works best with someone with some spice, like Sami, who is better suited for EJ. He needs someone passionate and compelling as a partner.
Belle is a somewhat bland character, but she serves a vital role in Salem. Neither Sami nor Nicole seems to be returning to Salem for keeps anytime soon, so EJ needs a new romance.
We have to wonder if EJ and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) might be a good fit. Both characters are manipulative and highly complex.
EJ and Gwen know what it’s like to be outcasts, and while neither would ever admit it, they enjoy each other’s company when drinking and scheming together at the mansion.
EJ might also be interesting with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). They had some chemistry together that the writers weren’t bold enough to explore.
Unless Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) finds his way home from Almania, it might be worth a shot. Who do you think EJ belongs with?
