‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ spoilers find that star Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) is celebrating a big birthday. Can anyone believe the soap hunk has turned 50 years old today?
Thanks to his many, many shirtless scenes on Days of Our Lives (thank you Mr. Carlivati), Martsolf’s chiseled abs and pecs that most 20-somethings could only dream of achieving are very well known to fans. It comes as no surprise that Martsolf’s fans took to Twitter to celebrate Martsolf’s 50th with, what else, shirtless photos of their favorite soap star.

Of course, Martsolf’s fandom stretches far past DOOL fans. Starting his soap career on NBC’s Passions portraying Ethan Winthrop from July 2002 until the series’ cancellation in August 2008. He was allegedly voted favorite actor on Passions for more than 80 weeks in a row in Soap Opera Digest! Woah!
Only three months after Passions disappeared from screens, Martsolf made his first appearance in the role of Brady Black on Days of Our Lives In 2014, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and was nominated again for the same award in 2019.
Those who’ve met Martsolf at Soap events and the likes continue to rave about his friendliness, energy and outgoing personality. He is a fan favorite both on and off screen!
Martsolf has had a tough year, losing both his parents only months apart from each other. Though he hasn’t posted any birthday pictures to social media yet, we imagine he is being spoiled by his wife of 18 years, Lisa Kouchak and twin sons Mason and Chase- 15
Martsolf’s television sister Martha Madison (Belle Black) is also celebrating her birthday today- July 27, Madison turned 44 today,
