‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that Sami Brady DiMera will become the latest in a long line of Salemites to be kidnapped when the soap returns to screens this coming week.
We know that Sami’s plot to expose Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) infidelity truly backfired (who, besides Sami, didn’t see that coming?) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) has now learned that his own wife as also a big ole cheater. But throwing stones in glass houses looks to have far more dire consequences than Sami predicted.
The question(s) is, who kidnaps Sami? Why? And did they really think this through???
Details are sketchy at best, but the top theories say it’s a mob kidnapping, it’s Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) doing or it’s the mysterious new (or returning) villain that has been teased to join us on the canvas.

Let’s unpack…
1-Mob kidnapping. This one takes a little ‘connecting of the dots’, beginning with Nicole turning to teddy-bear co-parent Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for comfort after her husband leaves her. Comfort soon leads to Sami being right on the money about Nicole- she’s a bit of a floozy and will start things up with the good ole’ detective. Unfortunately for both Nicole and Rafe, there is a certain live-in lover they forgot about- with powerful ties to the mob.
When Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) grows jealous of Nicole and Rafe’s connection, will she beeline to the woman who instigated Nicole’s dumping and subsequent broken heart?
2-Lucas is inexplicably still in love with his ex after all these years and is desperate to get her back. After Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) exposing letter finds it’s battered and burned-around-the-edges way into EJ’s hands, Sami is going to know exactly who to blame for her marriage breakdown. No, not herself for cheating (hello, this is Sami we are talking about here) but spoilers show a massive showdown between Sami, Nicole and Lucas.
Could Lucas decide he can’t speak to Sami in the state she’s in and kidnap her in an effort to get through to his love? Or, perhaps he will orchestrate the whole set up so he can ride in on a white horse and be Sami’s hero, hoping to earn her love that way?
3-A new villain has been whispered about (or maybe a returnee) but this is all we know. Could they be making their debut by snatching Sami. Do they understand how much they will regret this decision- no, not because Sami is a DiMera or has a ISA agent for a step-father. Simply because they’ll be stuck with Sami!
As you can see, little is truly known about Sami’s kidnapping, but we do know her son, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is due to arrive in Salem soon. Will he come to look for his mother or does he have something to do with her disappearance? Maybe his DiMera roots will really come out and he’ll want to teach Mommie Dearest a lesson or two about what happens to women who wrong their DiMera men?
