‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we had some questions about Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). We remembered seeing him in a cast photo for a yet-to-be aired episode milestone. So, it seemed clear he was going to be back at some point. We just weren’t sure how. Let’s talk about it.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Goodbye
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal poor Li had a sad fate in store. We were surprised to see him stabbed and bleeding when Gabi DiMera (then Camila Banus) appeared at the apartment.
We also couldn’t understand who would have wanted to get rid of him. So, it seemed some plan to frame Gabi. And maybe even involved Li. It wouldn’t be the first time someone faked a death!
We also questioned the writing of it. Especially when Shin supposedly “named” Gabi as his killer before he died. He did not say “Gabi” at all. But re-writing has apparently changed that. But with the latest development, we know why.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: He’s back… sort of!
Recently, Li returned to the canvas, only he was clearly not really there. So, we know he is definitely gone. And we also know Connie Vilinski (Julie Dove) is the killer, plus he said Gabi’s name as a warning to her.
Which (if he had said it), made sense. She ranted quite a bit about her and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). But is he really there, or just a figment of Connie’s warped mind? Here’s our take on it.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Stuck
We believe this is Li’s spirit. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal the show hasn’t been shy about involving more supernatural/paranormal elements. They have a mad scientist who’s brought many back from the dead.
Plus, there was a recent plot where several characters were in heaven and dealing with the Devil. Plus, the possession story. So, there is definitely history.
We think Li has been trapped there the whole time. Why? Because he seems a bit too combative and snarky to be Connie’s delusion. Seeing Connie’s warped sense of things, she’d likely have Li being grateful to her and enjoying every minute of her company.
It’s very likely Li will continue to haunt that apartment until the day Connie is finally caught and punished for her crime. There’s plenty that talk about that theory—that the dead sometimes can’t move on because of unfinished business. So, it’d make sense for DOOL to use that. We’ll see how things work out.
